12 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Vision Quest: Day 12

Greetings Kin,

12 Serpent/CHICCHAN

A Vision Quest is meant for us to set the world aside for a time to immerse ourselves in the world of pure Spirit. Taking time to ourselves from the cares of the world we are able to see ourselves through God’s eyes. We can see the True value of who we are, beyond any evaluation or standards of conformity that the world might impose.

At the conclusion of any sacred ceremony is that bridge we must cross that leads back into our real-world environment. How can we hold on to the new ground we have gained when we have to face the real people and situations in our lives?

I do feel elevated to a higher state of consciousness, but what I thought would feel like a supernatural experience, feels more like just paying attention.

I was the target of road rage on 10 Akbal (Manifestation) and was surprised at my knee-jerk response. I added unnecessary misery to the world by not just ignoring it. People are struggling. WE have to be the Light.  The small ways are the most important.

12 Serpent/CHICCHAN (Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI)

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Serpents, venomous temper poisons itself as well as others by creating resentful, suppressive and even destructive attitudes.

Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.

Vision Quest: Day 12

Serpent/CHICCHAN ignites our passion and opens our hearts. Galactic Tone 12 helps us see that the purpose of our illumination is not meant for our benefit alone.

Our challenging interactions in the world can be compared to dissonant chords of music. When you strike a pure tone together with a sharp or flat version of the same note, it creates a feedback or reverberation. The wavering sound we may hear is produced by the vibration of the dissonant tone attempting to correct itself to match the pure frequency of vibration.

We don’t have to change the world. Just by raising our own consciousness we are emanating a pure tone of Spirit that draws surrounding dissonance into the unconscious effort of righting itself.

What IS required of us, so we may hold onto our new spiritual ground, is to stand in our highest integrity. We have to invest ourselves in everyday living and apply our new strengths of attention and Spiritual Intention for the highest good of all.

To all my relations, may we recognize the power of our own transformation as a Light capable to dispel the darkness of the world… just by being. We don’t have to do anything but pay attention to insure that our actions are a pure reflection of our Spirit’s intention.
