7 Wisdom / CIB – Lessons of Love

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Kin,

The Dog/OC trecena of Unconditional Love sure feels more like a parody of extremes. I’ve been experiencing some intense energies. Drawing deeper to the wonder of the Earth has brought a keener awareness of how our world is suffering. The more capable we are of experiencing our Oneness, the more we will also share our pain. Stumbling over a the heartless humor of a hunting post on Facebook, Everything in me wanted to run to the street yelling, Stop! Stop! Wake up, Wake up! See KOMO4 News, Seattle. (Just kidding.)

I was seeing ALL the chaos of the world. And, in that moment I felt no forgiveness, no love, just loss. And, everyone else was to blame.

Today the Old Ones come near. They walked this way before. It is only by their wisdom that we’ve come this far. The Ancient Ancestors we seek are the Spiritual Masters. They know our worldly struggle, they know the chaos of creation, and they know the very fears and doubts hidden in our shadow… and how to rightly use them.

At Tone 7 we reach the top of the pyramid, the place of finding our balance. “The teacher appears when the student is ready.” We have been made ready to listen to the Wisdom of our Ancestors.

Council FireGREEN DAY: 7 Wisdom/CIB is portal Kin 176 that brings a thinning of the veil that magnifies our connection to Spirit. We are opened to a deeper spiritual connection through heightened senses of intuition and knowing.

We can use this energy to renew our relationship to our Ancestors. When we greet the morning Sun, we can thank them for sharing our path for another day. We can call to them, “Grandmothers, Grandfathers, what would YOU have me know today?”  And, as we let our troubles go down with the setting sun, “Thank you, for all your help.”

The traditional way for some is to call upon the Ancestors before taking prayers to God with the idea that the Ancestors know best what is needed and what can speed our progress forward. The very thing we might have God take away, could become the Light of our own Transformation.

We can set an altar in the North to honor the wisdom of the Ancestors, and a corresponding/balancing altar in the South to honor our shared Human experience in relationship with the Earth and One Another. Sacred Ceremony has the same power whether the ritual is performed in the Spiritual or Physical plane. The Light of Love is recognized in all dimensions. As Above, So Below. God made it so that nothing could ever separate us from the wonders of our own universe.

“The teacher appears with the student is ready.” The Wisdom/CIB glyph illustrates the mind in a pure state of illumination that is only possible through forgiveness… of others and ourselves. Through their understanding of the Human experience, our Ancestors are facilitators of learning that can help us process change more quickly. They are said to hold the torch aloft on our pathway to the stars.

To all my relations, as we stand at the threshold of a new transformation, may we be willing students, open to receive new wisdom. May we honor the Wise Ones and surrender our unforgiveness so we may receive the illumination of Mind, Heart, Body, and Spirit.

7 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’)

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective; 7 stands as the mirror to divide light and dark and reflects all that is and is not. 7 is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. 7 establishes the purpose to current and future goals.

Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign, enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. (A good day to sit on a rock.)

Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’   O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes.  Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative.  Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.

  1. ” And, in that moment I felt no forgiveness, no love, just loss.” Yes. Until we really feel the loss, how can we find the path of forgiveness? This post – thanks! I was trying to skip ahead. Somehow at sunset, I jumped through Cib into Caban. Glad you brought me back around to the correct day.
