Greetings Kin,

Tone 11 brings resolution to a new understanding and helps to facilitate our transformation. For a new Truth to take hold, there is a process of adjustment. This is the powerful place in every trecena where Truth moves from the Head to the Heart.

Sun/AHAU is the day of the Ancestors and we are connected to the guidance of the Ascended Masters. Sun is the Day Sign that shines a brilliant light on everything… both things hidden in darkness, and hidden in plain sight. The adjustment of our illumination will make known the Abundant Blessings of Love we are being prepared to receive.

The Old Ones who followed this way are with us and we are opened to their wisdom. We are guided to seek Higher Ground. Sun is the Day Sign that challenges us to reach beyond our perceived limits. As our role model, Sun is heroic, brave, and seeks the common welfare of all.

The Cherokee described the Sun as the home of the Creator. Sun is said to be the super-communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy. Sun channels the wisdom from our Ancestors through a Language of Love and Light. Tone 11 is the day the shamans trek to the mountains to receive Divine Inspiration.

One full moon I made my own trip to the Catalina Mountains bordering Tucson to offer sacred ceremony and to seek an experience of Oneness with the Creator. I didn’t have a plan. I carried sage, sweetgrass, cornmeal and tobacco and at the last moment, retrieved a small medicine bundle to tuck in my pouch.

The lookout point in the Catalinas offered a perfect dark-sky vantage point for the rising of the moon. The pull-off was a favorite astronomy club star party site or I would not have felt familiar enough to head out on this venture. The roads were narrow and winding – a short distance but a slow drive, especially in the dark. As I arrived at the lookout and was getting out of my car, another car pulled up not far from me. I was distracted by not being alone, and it seemed I had lost sight of my purpose when the woman approached me in friendly conversation. She was there with her camera to catch photos of mystical orbs and showed me some remarkable photos on her camera. She shared her spiritual path, similar, but different than mine. She was a creator of sacred objects.

We watched the moon rise and pass over us during the course of our conversation, high on a ridge overlooking the expanse of a narrow canyon, hidden within a cluster of peaks. Suddenly, a chill swept through that said it was time to go. As we said goodbye, she reached in her pocket and produced a beautiful beaded bookmark with a white buffalo carving and a dangling crystal moon. As she gifted it to me, I remembered the medicine bundle I’d tucked into my pouch and gifted it to her.

On the slow winding drive back down my mind drew me back to what I expected to happen. I thought I would be burning sage and sweetgrass and leaving an offering of cornmeal and tobacco. I wondered if I’d blown my whole intention for going to the mountain. I was safely back at home before this “adjustment” happened. I was able to see what had been right in front of me. I’d left the plan to God and this was God’s Sacred Ceremony. Physical matter was born of a Spiritual Intention. I carried a gift to her and she carried a gift to me, both arriving at the same time and the same place on a mountain for the Intention of seeking a Higher Experience of God. It was our one and only meeting. Though, we must both know that the objects we exchanged would never be given away – and, that the power of our Sacred Object grows stronger with every telling.

Sun is the Hero who challenges us to our Greatest Achievement. We are encouraged to Work Harder, Reach Higher, and Press Onward for a Higher Experience of Love. Miracles often come in disguise as ordinary events. Only when this adjustment occurs, does it becomes clear that God Responds in the moment we take action on a Sacred Intention.

To all my relations, may we receive the Blessings of Strength, Hope, and Courage to rise to a Higher Challenge. Sun draws us to take on new strength and the Ancestral Wisdom of Love.

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find it’s place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Sun/Ahau: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgement who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
