9 Seed / KAN – Wisdom of Forgiveness

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Kin,

9 Seed / KAN

9 Seed / KAN

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

Seed/KAN holds the dynamic potential for us to create something new. We are guided by Seed/KAN to see our place as co-creators in the world. And, we are called to participate in the Earth magic that transforms a Seed from a dormant grain into a full-grown living thing.

Seed holds the evidence of the miracles all around us. Some seeds are so small they can barely been seen, yet within the tiny seed is encoded thousands of pages of information that define what it will be. When seed is given the right conditions it begins its miraculous transformation into something millions of times greater than itself.

Could we even imagine this is possible, if we hadn’t seen the miracle for ourselves?

From the womb of all Creation, Akbal has given us a new seed of inspiration. Galactic Tone 9 reminds us that developing  new ideas into potent seeds requires our attention and patience. The Seed of our Dream lies dormant until given the right conditions for it to grow.

Seed encourages our “profound investigations” into self. We are asked to consider the Seeds we would sow.  Then, to ignite our Seed’s germination, we must cultivate our garden. Seed/KAN brings the energy to gather to oneself what is needed and to clear away the negative patterns from our past. We are guided to look for the right placement in soil that provides the proper sustenance and nourishment, and enough room for roots to take hold. We also consider care and feeding to cultivate our Dreams to Grow.

Tone 9 asks us to have patience to look again at the Wisdom of our Forgiveness. It’s harder to forgive when we’re bound by the illusion of powerlessness. Tone 9 can broaden our perception through a greater understanding of our own cause and effect. We can consider many different ways to look at same thing.

We are also reminded to apply patience with ourselves. To get to the heart of any matter requires releasing the weight of the burden we carry.  We find strength by opening our hearts to the Creator and sharing the authenticity of what we feel. We draw breath in a new way to bring Spirit and Life and the Power to ignite germination.

The Cherokee symbol for Seed is the Dragon, a universal symbol of the Life Force held in every creation. With Seed we hold the power to Create Life from the tiny seed of our Dream. “Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.”

To all my relations, may we recognize the Miracle of Creation is our Divine Gift given by  our Creator. May we imagine our Dream as a small seed in the palm of our hand. Though there is no evidence of the miracle, we know the magic is hidden inside. May we be nurtured by our own humble gratitude that God saw us worthy to be given the Power of Creation.

THE TRECENA OF WISDOM/CIB

9 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/ UKTE’NA   O’STO)

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA   O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ” eye, to look at, to see clearly”.  Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
