MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Kin,

9 Crocodile/IMIX marked a new dawning. With the encouragement of a Mother’s Love we were called to see ourselves in a New Light. On 10 Wind/IK we manifest New Life as we are “breathed alive” as the new I AM.

On Tone 10 of Manifestation we are guided to Acknowledge what has been created from an Intention to bring Love and Harmony to Family and Home. The Reed/BEN trecena has offered a new understanding of how we are all One and the Same. With the Intention of Divine Justice, we were each brought to Life with the equal capability of Becoming.

We were each created equal. Our differences only reflect the Special Gift we are each Given to Bring. As we are Transformed by this Understanding, we will realize there is an Over-Abundance of the Creator’s Blessings to go around.  Our Greatest Work is an effort we accomplish Together.  Reed/BEN would guide us to see that there Is No “Other.”

The Maya symbol that comes most closely to a representation of God is the Galactic Butterfly, named the Hunab Ku. This symbol is said to represent the Consciousness of Every Living Thing. We are guided to see ourselves as One with the Divinity of the Creator.

Like the Creator, we hold the Powers of Creation and our own Free Will. We have the Power to Define what we would be through the Gift of the Great, “I Am.”

While our Ego would lead us in an effort to be Seen by the World, the Greater Happiness lies in Knowing we are always Seen by the Creator. No heartache is hidden or burden unseen – and, no accomplishment unacknowledged.

To all my relations, may we experience a new Realization of Who We Are and What We Were Created to Become. May we accept that we are positioned in the Perfect Place and Share Equally the Divine Power of our Own Creation. May we acknowledge our Supreme Authority over a Universe, each Created as Divine Beings and Channels for the Love of the Creator.

10 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
