MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 4 is the Tone of Stability, symbolizing the cube, the most stable of all forms. Tone 4 establishes our sense of direction and orientation, and sets the boundaries of an equal exchange.
Star/LAMAT is a symbol of Venus, which appears as a Morning Star and Evening Star in equal cycles of 260-days. LAMAT reminds us that we are made of Stars, created to be a Personification of Light.
The Cherokee Day Sign, Rabbit, is known as Lamat’s totem animal. The Rabbit holds boundless energy as a symbol of reproduction, sexuality, and fertility that is capable to multiply to abundance. The energy of Rabbit multiplies whatever is focused on. We are given a Great Power that comes with a Great Responsibility. Today is a day to focus on our Highest Intentions.
10-DAY PORTAL: Element of Ether
Tones 2 thru 12 of the Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena open a Portal that thins the veil to the Dimension of Spirit and Magnifies our Awareness of Spirit. 4 Star/LAMAT helps us to crystallize a vision of our Self as a Spiritual Being, and to discern the needs of our own Source of Light.
Stars emanate light from a fire that burns within. The Rabbit’s energy is compulsive and holds potential to give too much away. Out of balance, Star can give all its light and collapse into itself. Tone 4 can help us to establish the boundaries that prevent us from burning out.
The energy of the Rabbit illustrates this compulsive vulnerability. Rabbit’s heart beats a little faster and its resting temperature is a little higher. Like Deer, Rabbit is highly vigilant. Once Rabbit is seen by its prey, its only power is to escape. This is one of Human’s natural responses when it has given too much.
All living creations are drawn to the Light. We were created as stars to shine independently, together.
4 Star/LAMAT would encourage us to see where we have been over-accommodating. When we are in true harmony and balance, we effortlessly emanate the Light of Love. Where we identify ourselves as giving too much, our energy is depleted in the role of a martyr or victim of our Highest Purpose.
LAMAT is said to be a day of “pure luck” based on its ability to multiply abundance. It holds the great responsibility of focusing our thoughts on the things that bring us happiness and holding gratitude for the Blessing of our Dream.
Days led by the Rabbit present intense energy that I describe as “jumpy.” It’s a day when my own thoughts seem prone to wander from gratitude to fear. I’ve adopted the strategy of focusing on my Intentions early in the day, then calling on Divine Agency to Intervene to hold this Intention on my behalf.
Star is laying the foundation to stabilize our spiritual journey. We are not meant to be Driven by a Cause to Give Away. Instead, we are Caused to Give by the Joy in the abundance of our own Light.
Star brings luck to any Intention we focus on. The Portal that connects us to the Ancestors, can help us Draw the Light of Spiritual Wisdom. We are encouraged to seek Divine Guidance to stabilize the balance of Giving and Receiving.
The glyph that appears as a Star is said to be the hole in the ground where the Seed of Life is planted. Star is a day to pray for all things in process of a beginning. It is also the time to ask for the recovery of something that has been lost because we gave up or gave it away.
Star symbolizes our identity as the scion of the Sun, the first generation descendants of a Divine Creator. The Highest Intention of the Creator is the Justice of Harmony and Equity. We were each designated as first in line for an Inheritance of Divine Spirit with one no more worthy or entitled than another. No one was meant to be last in line. We weren’t meant to be martyrs, but empowered Spiritual Beings. Star reminds us of our Right and Need to say No. Our Receiving and Giving can be balanced by the Discernment of an Equal Exchange.
To all my relations, may we count the Blessings we would multiply to abundance. May we see that the Light we multiply wasn’t meant to all be given away. May we see ourselves as a first-born child of the Creator, and consider the Happiness that a Divine Parent would wish for their children. May we see that the Creation of our own Happiness is a Blessing we have a Right to Receive. May we ask the Ancestors for their guidance and direction on setting the boundaries of our own Happiness so that we can continue to shine a Light for others. May we see that the future we offer our children is born in the Intentions of today, and ASK for a Blessing that is Multiplied to Abundance.

4 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion (a first-generation descendant) of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
