MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 4 offers the Intention of Stability. Tone 4 reflects the cube, the most stable of forms offering the dimensions of height, length, depth, and breadth. Guiding a new Intention to bring our Light to the world, Tone 4 sets the rules, boundaries, and parameters for our accomplishment.
Sun/AHAU is the Lord of the Tzolk’in, the Light that leads us every day, bringing Light, Life, and Inspiration. Sun is the Creator, the Master of Creation. It’s said that our encounters with Sun/AHAU are always a Day of Revelation. AHAU brings the Illumination to see what was hidden in the shadows, and what’s been hiding in plain sight.
4 Sun/AHAU is a significant date on the Tzolk’in, related to the ending of cycles, and upon which prophecies of major transformation are made. 4 Sun/AHAU was the Kin of December 21, 2012, a pivot point of Human Transformation as an ending and new beginning of the Long Count of 5, 126 years. In 2012, the world waited to see what would happen. From a Human perspective we expected our change to happen overnight. Like the Solar Eclipse in August 2017, the day came and went and Human was left wondering how life went on the same as always. Only in the passing of time can we look back with clarity to see the significance of the changes in our life.
The Tun calendar prophecy noted this date as the turning point to our Highest Transformation… a Transformation where our Human Power would be balanced by Divine Justice. Human would rise above the corruption of Power to be guided by the Ethics of Integrity. In our Highest State of Consciousness, Human would master the Power of Creation and use it for the Highest Good of the Whole. This is the Divine Intention that still prevails on 4 Sun/AHAU.
4 Sun/Ahau is revered by the Maya as the day when the Mayan world was born. 4 Sun/AHAU was the date of our Creation. Today is a revelatory day of a major life change. Like other days that come and go, Human may not perceive the magnitude of the change in a single day, though we’ve learned to recognize chaos as the evidence of a major change in process. Today is a turning point of Transformation.
GLOBAL BURNER DAY: 4 Sun/AHAU is one of the 4 Global Burner Days of the Tzolk’in round that fall in each of the 4 seasons of the Tzolk’in. This was a day when the community gathered for a Sacred Fire Ceremony. Energetically, the days leading up to a Burner Day are said to accumulate residual energies that we might discern as stress that can impact our relationships. The Sacred Fires held the purpose of bringing people together. Relationships could be restored through a shared burning off of excess energies. This is the day of an energetic release we could compare to a Solar Flare. This is a day worthy to build a fire. We could write on a piece of paper the negative energies we intend to release as an offering to the Element of Fire. It’s a day when we might notice a shift in our energy and a new Lightness of Being.
COMPLETION OF THE 8TH UINAL: The completion of this 20-day cycle also reflects the significance of this date. 8 is the number of “pure spirit” that holds the Intention of Justice. 4 Sun/AHAU marks the date that fulfills a Divine Promise of Harmony and Equity. This is a day to take stock of where we are and to take note of events that are happening around us. We may see their significance more clearly in the near future.
Sun/AHAU is the Day Sign that ignites our Will and Passion. AHAU reminds us that we are children of the Sun, the Master of Everything. The Whole of Humanity is the firstborn Light of the Creator. AHAU can reveal the Truth that we each stand first in line for a Divine Inheritance of Power. AHAU is the motivator who encourages us to see all we are capable to be, and to engage the power we’ve been given.
AHAU is a day that Honors the Old Ones, the Humans who have ascended to their Highest State of Consciousness. Today we are connected to the Collective Wisdom of all time. Our own Transformation is part of an accumulated effort of Human Transformation, each one playing a part in the Transformation of one another. A community fire ceremony would be the place to Honor them, remembering the Dawning of the Sun since the beginning of time and the Whole of the Inspiration that was preserved for us to share. We can Honor the Spark in Human that’s existed down through time as the Divine Instinct to share the Wisdom of a Way to live in the Happiness of Harmony. We might recognize the Divinity in the Instinct to serve the purpose of sharing our Light.
4 Sun/AHAU brings the power to stabilize our Light. Living within the Rules and Parameters of a Divine Intention, we are meant to shine our Light in all directions. To hold our Light, we must give it away. We must become the channel through which Light is drawn into the world.
This is a Season of Miracles and Divine Expectations. Our movement in darkness is coming to an end. Collectively, Humans are naturally drawn to anticipate the return of new light. We hold hope in the promise of a new Spring. This is the season we celebrate in the darkness the promise of a new Spring.
AHAU brings the Light to see the Signs within our Self. The accomplishments we’ve made in the incremental steps of each Sacred Day are revealed in magnitude of a collective accomplishment. Something we couldn’t see happening from one day to the next is drawn into our Consciousness. We are able to see the forest instead of just the trees.
Given the Light of our Accomplishment we are given a new Will to keep going. We are given a new Clarity of Purpose, along with the evidence that we Are Capable to carry it out. This is a day when the Creator shares the vision of the Power seen in us.
Like the Tone 8, a Transformation of Spirit is completed by the 8th uinal… a Transformation that is Accomplished by the Intervention of a Divine Agency. Like Tone 8, the 8th uinal is a Holy Cycle of Transformation that fulfills the Creator’s Intention of Peace on Earth.
AHAU resides in the South, the direction of our relationships with one another and with Mother Earth. The Earth/CABAN trecena offers the Stability of 4 Sun/AHAU, as a Holy Day of Sacred Ceremony that restores the Integrity of our Relationships.
The Cherokee Day Sign the Flower/GUN’TSI EK represents the Face of the Flower that follows the path of the Sun across the sky. Focused on the Sun, the flower “gathers the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.” Following the way of the Sun, we draw the Light of an Unlimited Creator.
To all my relations, may we celebrate the Element of Fire as the Spark of our Divinity. May we celebrate the release of a burden that makes possible a New and Right Relationship with One Another and the world. May we give thanks for the Sun’s gifts of Light, Life, and Inspiration, and for our own Divine Instinct to share it with each other. May we Honor the Old Ones who shared their Light with us. May we Honor through our Sacred Prayers and Rituals, our own Divine Instinct to share our Light with the world. May we see it as the proof that we are the descendants of the Highest Source of Light, born to become Masters of Creation… designed to reflect the Creator’s Light on Mother Earth. May we celebrate our Stability, standing on the Promise of Peace on Earth.

A NEW COMMITMENT TO GRATITUDE:
I’m sharing a the “21-Days of Gratitude” as a perpetual Personal Ceremony through the next journey to 8 Monkey/CHUEN Maya New Year. This 21 days started on 11 Jaguar/IX and ends in synchronicity, on 12 Jaguar/IX – 12’s Tone of Understanding, the Magic of Gratitude (Jaguar/IX).
We are approaching the Global Burner Day, 4 Sun/AHAU, on December 15th. 4 Sun/AHAU a very significant date on the Tzolk’in calendar, central to Mayan prophecies of Transformation. (December 21, 2012 prophecies were based on its Mayan date, 4 Sun/AHAU.) Burner Days release a build-up of residual energies to restore the Balance of our Relationships. Personal ceremonies are often observed by the Maya during days leading up to Burner Days.
21-Days of Gratitude: Day 7
I’m grateful for the guidance of the Elders who shared their wisdom. I’m grateful that they persisted even when their Wisdom was far beyond my understanding. I’m grateful for the Faith they held in me, that one day I Would See it for myself.
REMEMBERING WISDOM KEEPERS…
Remembering Ian Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU, who’s Destiny was to bring the Light of New Understanding. MayanMajix.com, the collaboration of Ian and Michael Shore was the Light that led me to the Tzolk’in calendar. I also honor the that I Acknowledge as the Light that led me to the calendar.

4 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
