5 Sun / AHAU – Application of Our Spiritual Nature: Day 5 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Sun / AHAU

Greetings Kin,

Tone 5 brings the Intention of Empowerment, offering the strength for our upward climb. The power of Tone 5 will generate the momentum to complete a new effort of Spiritual Growth.

Sun/AHAU is the symbol of Light, Life, and Happiness. Like Wisdom/CIB, Sun is a symbol of the Ascended Masters, as well as the Creator. Together they hold the Intention of our Creation, the Knowledge of our Purpose, and the Sum of all Divine Wisdom.

AHAU represents the Light of Illumination. AHAU sheds its light on what’s hidden in shadow and  hidden in plain site. AHAU helps us to see in its brightest light something we’ve overlooked. As our Creator, Sun knows our capabilities and motivates us to invest ourselves in our Highest Performance. AHAU is a day of personal revelation.

Completing the 10th Uinal:  5 Sun/AHAU completes the 10th uinal (20-day column), holding the higher intention of manifestation.  5 Sun/AHAU marks a day of an Important Realization for this Tzolk’in round. On the Tone 5 of Empowerment, we can realize the Power of our Will and Determination.

I woke up to a tsunami warning this morning after a 7.9 quake in the Gulf of Alaska (now downgraded to an advisory). It was an opportunity to re-evaluate the things that are important… communication to loved ones, warm clothes, water, a carrier for the cat and something for us to eat. Suddenly everything else was okay to lose to a sea of floating debris. The most important things I own were reduced to what I could carry. It was impossible NOT to see how much was invested in things that didn’t matter.

I could only consider this was a message that both the Creator and the Ascended Masters intended to drive home.

I’ve been thinking about our power to say “No” and how easily we can be drawn into unconscious decisions. Who’s idea was it that we can’t be seen wearing the same clothes we wore yesterday?  I don’t spend much on clothes, yet this morning they seemed to be everywhere. The “things” I regretted as a potential loss were my art supplies… even ahead of family photos. I wouldn’t lose the memories. Life, Love, and the means to Create are my greatest possessions.

Sometimes its easier to do what is expected of us than to follow our own path. We can say “yes” by simply failing to say anything. We ignore Truth when we’re afraid to offend, or acquiesce  when we are afraid to hear the Truth.

Sun/AHAU encourages us to be Spiritual Warriors… the Hero-Coach who calls us into the huddle.

“I watched you in practice. You know what to do. Don’t hold back or rest on the laurels of yesterday. Just keep your eyes on me for direction. Don’t be afraid to be YOU!  Go for it. Give it your ALL!  Follow your Truth and Your Dream Will Come True!

To all my relations, may Sun/AHAU shine a light on the choices we’ve made that weren’t our own. May we claim that our Free Will is the Power of our Own Identity and Destiny. May it be OKAY to say “no” to the world in favor of “yes” to the Divine Guidance. May “confused” be a reason to say “no” until we’ve made a clear discernment.  We always have the right to say, “I need to think about it.” May we think about every choice we make. May we choose what is important enough to carry. We will Know. May we ALWAYS choose to Know the Truth. May we remember that miracles are made possible by a Leap of Faith.

In lak’ech, I am another you

5 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.

  1. Greetings debra

I can not agree more with you when you talk about disasters such as tidal waves, earthquakes or hurricanes. We are like strands of straw opposite the anger of all these telluric forces. I saw on television some pictures of hurricane Harvey in Texas or the hurricanes that ravaged the West Indies last September. What waste, objects suddenly become useless!
Beautiful lesson of humility given to us by the Creator-Teacher: First, think of filling our hearts rather than our garbage cans!

Many blessings on you and all your loved ones

  2. “Sun/AHAU encourages us to be Spiritual Warriors… the Hero-Coach who calls us into the huddle.”

He is Sun-Father, the solar representation, the day of the Greatness, the force of Life. It gives the
bodily strength and the necessary one to continue Life after Death.
