MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The Tone 5 of Empowerment will gather to us the power we need to carry on. In this phase of Spiritual Growth (Tones 1-6), we’re investing ourselves in a climb to the top of the pyramid. Led by Sun/AHAU, it’s a steep climb.
AHAU knows our capabilities, encourages high expectations, and guides the way revealing the Truth, and nothing but the Truth. As we revel in the Light, so will Sun bring light to fears that lie in our subconscious, especially issues related to our identity.
In the harvest cycle of the Tzolk’in, our Seed has sprouted it’s very first leaves. One sprout looks very much like every other. We can’t see proof of what we are. We may question our own identity, and how we are perceived by others. The sprout is vulnerable. We needed the Supreme Creator , Sun/AHAU, for this Time and Purpose to remind us who we are.
AHAU calls on Seed/KAN to give us the Inner Strength we need to complete the climb. Every seed holds the Divine Design for an Intention of creation. We were Designed as the firstborn of a Divine Creator. That’s how we will be identified as we grow toward maturity. We are growing up as the Fruit of Divine Spirit.
5 Seed/KAN offers us the Power to claim who we are. We came to Life in the womb as a Consciousness that became Conscious of itself. We lived Wholly in the Ether of Conscious Experience. Only later did we realize we had a body. Born into the world Above, it’s a perfect reflection. We first became conscious of our body. The Sun reflected Light on our Being of Physicality. It didn’t change our True Nature. We only fell under an illusion that our body was the primary identity.
Seed relates to the Spark in the Seed that ignited the Consciousness of Consciousness. The Cherokee Dragon is the Force of Life with the Power to “Clearly See.” Before we saw the world of Light, everything existed in the darkness of the Creative Void. We had everything we could possibly need in an unlimited supply. We never had to ask for what was already there. Voices spoke to us and Knew who we were. Our Mother played an eternal lullaby with the Beating of her Heart. This was our first perception of reality.
Our Spiritual parent is the All in One, the perfect Balance of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine. If we grew up in this image, so would we be Divine. The perception of our identity is changed by the reflection of Light. We suddenly see our Self as Separate and a Being of Physicality.
Our Spirit knows everything from the Beginning. Spirit is our Eternal Identity. Our Consciousness never ages. We identify as the same consciousness of thought whether we’re 15 or 50. The Spirit of Who we Are, is our True Identity. Spirit remains pure. Like gold, it can never tarnish. It was built to last so Human would have time to remember.
4 AKBAL guided us to depend on Spirit for our Stability and Direction. Our Power lies in Claiming the Identity of our Creator. The Divine Agency that tends our sprout, will do for us what we can’t do for our Self. They will remind us, until we can remember.
I’ve found loose pages of old diaries and was surprised when my latest epiphany was stuff I wrote down a long time ago. I wonder how I am just now finally “getting” it. The difference in my perspective is Believing. Divine Spirit must remind us, like Divine Parents, of what we need to remember, over and over again.
Seed/KAN is said to cast a net around everything that is needed. Seed cultivates the environment where we can grow. The Cherokee Day Sign is the Dragon, the Force of Life and the Power to “Clearly See.” Today we can be empowered by a revelation about our Self.
To all my relations, may we claim our Divine Parents as the All in One. May we imagine the Creator’s Joy the first time we call the Name. May we Know that what is needed will be gathered to us with the help of a Divine Agency. As we gather the Power we need to make the final step, may we turn our Consciousness of the Creator to ask the Question of Who We Are.

5 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
