11 Wind / IK – Road to a New Destiny: Day 11 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

11 Wind / IK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 11 offers us an Intention of Resolution to bring clarity to a new understanding. 11 offers the energy of Dynamic Action that Facilitates our Change. Through a modification and simplification of understanding, we can see our role and place in the Universe.

Tone 11 is the day the shaman climb to the Highest Altar. Bringing an Offering, they are Atoned with Creator. In the One Mind of Divine Consciousness, our place will become clear for us to Resolve a way to make our Journey through life.

Wind/IK is the Breath of Life and Breath of Spirit, reflecting the Power of our Voice and the Spoken Word. Through Sacred Breath the Creator commanded Creation. Road/EB is showing us how, holding a Spark of the Creator’s identity, we have the Power to command our own Destiny.

Wind holds the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. The Cherokee Whirlwind is the double-helix of smoke that carries our prayers heavenward. The Element of Air is the Womb of Ether within which we are always connected to each other. The Earth’s atmosphere, like a womb, is a place we are held together within a Divine Creation. Air is our most fundamental resource for Life.

Wind/IK resides in the North, the direction of Wisdom from Above. In the North is held the Collective Wisdom of those that came before. The North and the Element of Air relate to the faculties of the mind, our gift of Consciousness, Intellect, and Imagination. In a realm of Oneness, the Creator holds our minds, just as the Mother held our bodies in the womb.

Among the challenges we face as Human is our inability to do things perfectly. There will always be a breaking point, a place that even the Best Intention won’t carry us through. The limit of our Faith is the place where a Higher Consciousness can take over, if we Resolve that Choice.

Through a Covenant of Shared Power, the Limit of our Faith becomes a Divine Place of Being. The Creator wanted us to be part of a dynamic creation. Reaching our Limit means we’ve made our contribution. We gave everything we Humanly had to give. The Creator is willing to fulfill what we are incapable to do for our Self.

The hardest person to forgive is our Self. For years I “fought the battle” of holding positive thoughts. I saw my limit as “total failure,” proof that all the ground I’d gained was lost. Failure never has to be the end of the road, but the beginning of Divine Intervention.

There are strong voices pulling us in opposite directions. We are prepared to weather the Storms. We are anchoring our inner Pillar of Spirit. We all have something wrong, when we can’t see the Light in each other.

We don’t have to hold every thought that comes our way. When dark thoughts, like a cloud, come drifting by, we can observe from our Center, and ask the Wind, and our Higher self, to blow them away. Love and Understanding will identify the guidance of our Higher Self. The two sides of our self were created to live in Harmony and Equity. The Lower Self can identify our fear. Our Higher Self, the Holy Spirit connected to the Divine, knows the way to heal it.

Our Higher Self knows our fear of the dark is only an Illusion. As the Source of Higher Wisdom, it would never say, “There’s no need to fear an illusion. So come on and just do it.”  Our “Wisest Self” would say, “I understand you are afraid. Let’s talk about it. I won’t go anywhere without you. I’ll stay with you until you are ready.” (Imagine the sigh of relief those words could bring.)

A Creator meant for our Meaning and Purpose to be something we are drawn to do. It’s Human Nature to see the worst of our faults and make the hardest thing the first priority on our to do list. So, of course we’re most likely to fail. Our Higher Self will call us to something we are more than willing and able to do. “Should” doesn’t exist in the vocabulary of our Higher Self. Instead it shares the Passion to Create.

Wind/IK can change the landscape of our lives to Breath Life into a Dream. Changes in our lives can inspire new Passion. Wind is the Divine Voice we can hear and feel through our senses. The Elders say we should always take note of our thoughts, when the wind calls our attention. Wind can offer a Divine Response to what is on our mind. It either blesses us with a gentle breeze, or it can blow us in a new direction.

Wind/IK empowers Dreamers and Planners with powerful imaginations. Wind can change directions quickly.  The Cherokee Whirlwind is a vortex of Air that swirls as an upward draft. Wind can lift us to Higher Thoughts.

Road/EB’s Human Journey is arriving at its destination. We are drawn to make a Choice of where we will fit into the Universe. Our place is written in the Wind, as spirals of ever-upward movement. The Cherokee Whirlwind is the 13th Dancer, the One that leads the 12 from the Up Above. We are the dancers below, allowing a Higher Spirit to lead us to an Ascension from Above.

To all my relations, may our Divine Discernment be elevated by the Wind. May we be drawn to remember to forgive our own imperfection. May we know that the same Voice that Spoke the world into creation, the Voice that moved Matter and Spirit, will move us too.  May we be willing to wait for the Wave of Spiritual Energy that is already carrying our Dream to the shore.  May we Acknowledge that the Creator is “good at His word.” The Creation will be completed as Commanded by an Almighty Source of Power. May we hold Faith in a Power for dynamic change made possible by a Divine Creator who knows everything about us, including what we Love.

in lak’ech, I am another you

11 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
