3 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Vision Quest: Day 3 of 13

Traditional ways of Vision Quest are offered for your consideration on the Vision Quest Ceremony page. My Intention is to share it in a worthy way that Honors the teaching of the Elders.

3 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 3 is the day of Movement that brings Life to our Intention. Through the action of movement or communication an Intention of Spirit becomes a vibration in the realm of physicality. A Divine Inspiration from Above is brought to life in the world Below.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Day Sign of “lightening in the blood.” Serpent’s way of being is correspondent with the Movement of 3, bringing the physical sensations of Spirit to life within the body.

CHICCHAN is the catalyst of Spirit, said to “light the fuse that ignites the Force of Life itself.”

CHICCHAN awakens the Forces of Divine Energy in the Body, Mind, and Spirit. “Lightning in the Blood” is a “communication” we can feel as a physical experience. This force, our Spark of the Creator, is the source of our Spiritual Gifts of Knowing.

Like the dragon energy of Seed, we’re given the power to “see clearly.” CHICCHAN is the force of kundalini energy that we might feel traveling up the spine. This is a day to pay attention to a stirring of Spirit, our gut feelings, and revelations that are accompanied by physical sensations. As a symbol of Kulkulkan, the Feathered Serpent, CHICCHAN embodies the Light that descends along the pyramid steps at Chichen Itza.

CHICCHAN is tuning us in to our Spiritual Gifts. CHICCHAN amplifies our Discernment of Spirit for Enlightenment and Illumination.

CHICCHAN has the power to open the way for Spiritual Expansion. We can shed the skin of our old way of being. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart.

SERPENT/CHICCHAN: Catalyst of Spirit; Awakening Spirit in the Body; expands the heart

EAST: New Beginnings, dawnings, the Light of Divine Inspiration; turning us to the Sun/Creator, the Source of Life, Light, and Happiness

ELEMENT OF FIRE: Force of Life, Light and Spirit; the Element that is capable to change and transmute the form of all other physical elements

RED: The color of initiation. In the perpetual rotation of the 4 Directions, Red is the first color in rotation. It initiates a thought or inspiration that can then be seen from each direction of the Medicine Wheel. The Inspiration of the East, can be reflected upon through our relationships (South), our responses to the unknown experience of life (West), and through the Wisdom of the Elders (North).

The Snake is a nahaul that survives by its Sense of Vibration. Living in connection with Mother Earth, it senses its prey through vibrations that come through the ground. We can sense Spirit by the vibration of the Earth matter in the substance of who we are. The Cherokee description of the Serpent is the Movement of Spirit being seeded on the planet Earth.

CHICCHAN will call our Spirit to Move forward in a Sacred Intention. CHICCHAN unites the Above and the Below. We can Honor Chicchan with our Gratitude for the Life that is given to an Intention to open our Heart to the Creator. May we feel the stirring in our Heart that longs for something more and Know it as the Passion that will Manifest a Higher Creation of Love. May we accept where we are in the moment as the place where we were Divinely Guided to Be. Shedding skin may be requires us to keep moving forward.

To all my relations, may we look to our own Heart and our own Dream. May we be fired by the Love that descends from Above and Acknowledge the Gift it Offers to Body and Soul.  Through Acknowledgement of our intuitive instincts, we invite the feelings to grow. May we give thanks for our First Gift of Spirit. As we light the candles on our altar, may we consider the power of Fire to change everything. May shed the skin of an old way of being and tune our Self to the Vibrations of Mother Earth. May we Honor the Energy of CHICCHAN as the Gift of Consciousness, the Spark of the Divine Creator that exists within.

in lak’ech, I am another you

3 Serpent/CHICCHAN (Cherokee, Serpent/Do’tsi  VK)

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Serpents, venomous temper poisons itself as well as others by creating resentful, suppressive and even destructive attitudes.

Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI VK: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. How is your Spiritual path today?

I love to hear from you. Share your thoughts on the day, your Day Sign, or just say Hi!

On 4 Sun/AHAU I was able to make the reservations for the trip to celebrate Ian Lungold’s Mayan birthday, 12 Sun/AHAU, on October 31st along with the observance of the Day of the Dead. It felt important to the information I would share in my book. I’m grateful to be part of such a flow of Love, more necessary that money, for the realization of my dream. You are already the blessing of just being here. (But you could help me spread the word.) much love, in lak’ech, Debra https://www.gofundme.com/life-dream-a-pilgrimage-of-spirit

How are you? – Bix a beel? (pron. Beesh-uh-bell)

I’m very good. – Ma’alobi (pron. Mah ah-low-bee)

And you? – Kux teech? (pron. Koosh tehch)

Thank you. – Ni’bo’olal. (pron. Nee boo ooh lahl)
