MY JOURNAL FOR THE WIND/IK TRECENA IS DEDICATED TO MINISA CRUMBO HALSEY
Minisa is my Higher Source of human discernment in the traditional Medicine Wheel path. Minisa’s heritage is Citizen Band Potawatomi of the Shawnee, OK agency and Muscogee Creek of the Okmulgee, OK agency.
Minisa carried me through the Wind to my first Mayan teaching in San Diego. She has guided the Wisdom of the Medicine Wheel that’s led me since 2002. Thank you Minisa for a Gift of Consciousness that we Breathe and are Breathed by Divine Spirit!
Minisa shares her Breath of Spirit in her book “Spirit Talk: a count of days“ that was the encouragement to write a journal. Minisa is an Artist, Teacher, Author, and Video Journalist, that connects me to the Medicine Circle in Oklahoma, where this Sunday will be a gathering to honor this Sacred Time in the Longhouse by traditions passed down through “Uncle Bear Heart,” the uncle that directed her traditional shaman path. MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 2 holds the Intention of Duality. On Tone 1 we began in unity with the Creator. One Tone 2 we are separated from the whole to discern the Creation that would be our Expression born of Divine Inspiration.
Night/AKBAL is the Voice of Spirit that speaks to us in our dreams. AKBAL is the Spiritual Gift of the Creator that can speak to us of our unconscious Dreams. AKBAL is the Voice of Spirit that knows us better than we know ourselves. AKBAL connects the two sides of the mind, our Intellect and our Intuition. AKBAL calls us to draw Wisdom into our Imagination.
On a Mission of Spirit our way forward lies under the Authority of a Divine Creator. All we have to do is make an Intention to be led by Spirit. Our greatest effort will be to keep an open mind and to Know that Spirit will guide each step of the way.
This is a short post and the last one written in advance of my trip. I expect to walk through the door at home after midnight. So, on 2 Night/AKBAL I may be dreaming for the rest of the day.
AKBAL can be an emotional day – direction of the West, Element of Water – AKBAL is the Voice that speaks through the heart. Connecting our Intellect and Intuition, we hold the power to Discern our Dreams.
AKBAL is the Dreamer who believes in the Dream and its own Power to Create it. Imagine that. Ask yourself, what would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail. Paint this dream in your imagination.
AKBAL knows our unconscious fears. AKBAL is the Light in the Darkness that will guide us to willingly enter the darkness of the Unknown, the Creative Void that holds Unlimited Possibility. AKBAL will encourage a Dream we LOVE.
To all my relations, may we Listen for the Voice of Spirit in our Dreams. May we remember we were connected to a Divine Agency that offered the Illumination to Dream it. Ian’s already volunteered to help us manifest our dreams from the other side. When we become Conscious of Inspiration of a Divine Creator, may we volunteer – “Here “I Am” Lord, send me.”
in lak’ech, i am another you

2 Night/AKBAL (Cherokee, Hearth, O’ya)
Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void. a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity.
Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night. Belief is so strong that the surrounding elements become entrained to their rhythm and all resistance falls away. With respect and honor of intuition combined with knowledge this energy creates the magic of the center in this dimension. AKBAL-Night-Totem-OWL: Guardian of the Night Sun. Energies for the opening of mystic secrets, seeing through the masks of deception, trickery. High ability of discernment. Portals open to other worlds and dimensions for your learning and spiritual growth. Magical abilities are possible.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
