MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Kin,

Tone 3 holds the Intention of Movement. We bring life to a new Vibration through the Sound of Movement or Communication. The frequency of the Vibration will be established by our Reason for Creation. The Vibration that goes on forever is the Eternal Vibration of Love. When we Love what we would create, our thoughts can be trained to the wave-length that always Begins and Ends in Happiness.

Crocodile/IMIX is the Dawn of a New Awakening. IMIX is simply the beginning of all things. IMIX is the primordial Mother and the Womb of Creation, the Divine Feminine who is capable to Discern the Divine Meaning and Purpose for Every Inspiration.

The Cherokee Day Sign is the Turtle that rose from the deep to create dry land, a place for Human to experience Life between Father Sun and Mother Earth. From the darkness of the deep where nothing could be Seen or Known, we would be drawn into the Light of Becoming. Like the first day we were born, we could never have imagined all that was waiting to be experienced. There were endless possibilities to figure out.

IMIX represents an awakening of Consciousness, a new perception of reality, all made possible by Light. In the moment we were born all we knew were possibilities… all waiting for the first one that we would choose. A Mother of Compassionate Love guides us to take a step toward the most beautiful possibility we see.

5th Uinal of Empowerment
3 Crocodile/IMIX begins the 5th Uinal of Empowerment. Through the next 20 days, we will manifest the Power to grow to maturity. Number 5 represents the center of the Cube, the zero point within from which we manage and apply our Consciousness and all the resources of our Spiritual Tools. We hold a new body of wisdom about our self. In the 5th Uinal, we learn ways to apply the tools we were given to overcome our Human limitations. The Storm/CAUAC trecena begins our Empowerment through a renewed sense of Inner Strength, and the Power to Believe in our own Choices.

IMIX is known as the Mother of Innovation. IMIX excites our thoughts with “wild ideas.” This is a day our imagination is charged by random thoughts and inspiration that often seem unrelated. It’s a very important day to keep pen and paper at hand. A crazy unrelated wild idea may be the very thought that leads to your own “wild idea.” Pay attention and you’ll likely notice you have more ideas than you need for one creation.

IMIX wakes us up to the resource of our Imagination. It’s not a day for using the Reasoning Mind. We don’t have to figure anything out. We don’t have to Know anything except the toy we want to play with first. While we’re playing, our thoughts will follow their own course of genius ideas.

I’m beginning to think every journal for IMIX should note the difficulty of sorting through thoughts that seem random. It always feels like it doesn’t make any sense. So, good luck following my own trail of random thoughts. I guess it’s only Ego that needs to make sense.

It’s said that those who follow the IMIX “wild ideas” that they Love, are identified as genius. When we’re given Life, Light, and Happiness – our eyes are drawn toward Love. We always want to know more about things we Love.

The Internet is a genius idea that allows Human to share Wisdom and Thoughts on a global scale. It offers an example of what Human does when they learn something they Love. When something engages us, we follow the trail. It may have been a single idea on the topic that caught our attention, so those are the links we follow. No one assigned the homework. We volunteer because we loved it and we wanted to know more. (If I did a third of the research in school that I’ve done following wild ideas, I’d have surely been an “A” student in school, instead of bringing home report cards that said, “doesn’t apply herself to the best of her ability.”)

That should teach us a lot about raising children. We can’t expect anyone to be inspired by the same wild ideas that inspire us. We should encourage children’s own wild ideas, believing they carry greater potential to Know More than we did. They started from Higher Ground. By the same token, so should we encourage our own wild ideas. We get bored with things that are easy. Human was designed for a challenge. We were born explorers and adventurers of Mother Earth and all the experiences we would know here. We are the “ancient aliens” figuring out how we will survive and be happy on Mother Earth. When we figure it out we’ll be the Masters of Creating a Happy Life on Mother Earth.

We might imagine all the choices as the different paths we take to explore Life on Earth. The family farm is 240 acres. There are meadows and woods of Blackjack Oak and Cedar. In the back pasture is an old buffalo wallow. There are rocky outcrops and streams. It’s easy enough to get lost in the woods. My sister decided to forge some paths. They took wooden stakes when they would go for a walk to mark a trail to the end. On the next walk they could either go further or start a new path in a new direction. Over time they established a network of paths on the farm where one could explore and never get lost. Though the paths followed their original course to a destination, no walk would ever be the same. The experience would change with the seasons. Sometimes, other Living Things would leave their mark along the trail.

Our lives are the very same trail and we can see something new every day. We could never see all there is to see. We could choose to look at many things closer over Time. Our mind is only limited by what we can imagine.

I think it’s easy to get hung up on “waiting for the big idea.” We want a clear direction from the start. We THINK we’d rather know where the paths are leading before we head out in a direction, but what would be the fun in that adventure? IMIX shares a new perspective on the “Unknown” as the medium through which we draw out our genius. That’s what “genius” is – knowing things that seem impossible to figure out. All things are possible for Human to figure out in our own way over Time.

We can take an idea as far as we can. From a new destination, we’ll see new possibilities. We never have to worry about a lack of ideas… only the reason to choose one. Every new idea leads us straight to our imagination… the fertile soil where every seed of a dream can grow.

The greatest faculty given to Human is our Mind. The body is just as Divine, though we are created to overcome any physical disability through the faculties of thinking. Stephen Hawking blazed trails of thoughts without  physical movement. Hawking found a Movement of Spirit that would carry him to any destination of experience.

Consciousness is a gift that makes Happiness possible regardless of our material circumstances. When we explore it with our eyes open, we’ll see it for the treasure that it is.

I may have never engaged it so easily without a calendar. Everything of substance I’ve come to know didn’t really begin in earnest until 2015. My life was changed in the first 260-days of a dedicated daily practice. My first 260-day milestone was believing in my own Truth. I finally credited my own thoughts and opinions as worthy to stand on. For the first time in my life, when I had a question about an inspiration, I didn’t want to ask anyone else what it meant. I was figuring out what it meant for myself, and right or wrong, I wanted to see where my own inspiration might lead me. It might not sound like an earth-shattering change, but all I can remember is how once when someone asked for my opinion, my first thought is “what’s the right answer?” It was more important for my thoughts to be validated than to even KNOW what they were.

It changed everything. Only figuring things out for myself, did I realize the value of my own ideas. We all think so differently. All of us have great ideas. We all have something to share. Even KNOWING this, sometimes it’s easier to think others have all the good ideas. We see their good ideas. We wish they were ours. We will never know “ours” until we think about it. We can draw inspiration from others on the ways and means to our own ideas, but we’re really not happy until we have Our Own Bright Idea. We prove to our Self we are capable to Create on our own. Every inspiration is Divine. It’s Divine that we can all discern a different Truth from the same Inspiration.

Another hangup can be waiting for an idea that no one has ever thought of. In the body of Spirit, all things have been known as a possibility. If we’re rushing to be “the first” we’ll be led by our Ego. We won’t take the Time to think things through as if we had all the Time in the world. We limit our Self.

My first genius idea was to put elastic in the corners of fitted sheets. I was about 12. I was making the bed. It was an ordeal every time to get the sheets around the corners of the mattress. Sheets have been around forever. Today, the corners of sheets are among the most promoted sheet-features. We are all capable of genius ideas at any age, whether we act on them or not. Stop and think of how many bright ideas you’ve had that you never responded to. There’s too many bright ideas to respond to all of them. We didn’t miss anything. One idea will never be the “one that got away,” when we Believe our best ideas are yet to come. One will hold the potential for genius, if we choose something we Love.

One idea will be the first step toward an Unknown destination… because we’re doing something new. When we introduce a new experience into our life, new things will happen.

I was told many years ago that if you wanted to change your life, change something, Anything. If you put on your shoes, “sock, sock, shoe, shoe” you could change things by putting them on “sock, shoe, sock shoe.” We’re always more conscious doing something unfamiliar. We HAVE to think to carry out a change. Thinking a life-changing exercise. Changing what we think about will change our experience.

I was never one who could sit and meditate with my eyes closed. I had difficulty sitting “doing nothing.” I knew the benefits, but couldn’t make myself do it. I’m much more engaged with my eyes open writing thoughts as words I can see. The Elders always say, “There are many ways to accomplish the same thing.” I wasn’t excluded from the blessing of consciousness, because my way was different. Your different way will be your Perfect Way. It’s fun when we believe anything is possible. (Maybe I’ll imagine that water is a Divine Elixer and Magic and of Life, and every time I drink it, I’m taking in the Light of New Consciousness. It’s worthy and Divine to be children again, engaging the Wisdom of Innocence. We were born knowing anything was possible. We had to learn to forget.)

You could have never told me that the Happiness I wanted so badly was a simple matter of Choosing what I think about. I not sure I knew I had a choice. It sounds like such a simple thing. What makes it difficult is that our Heart is involved. Our Heart is meant to be the loudest signal for Discernment. When we discern that our Emotions are Telling us Something, we won’t push them away, The most wonderful discernment is the realization that Fear is always an Illusion.

Sometimes we can discern the Wisest Choice by moving in the opposite direction of the Reasons our Ego presents. We could look for something very small, instead of something BIG. We could engage a creation that holds no hope of making a dime. We could choose a creation that’s been done before. A new idea can elevate anything to a new level of genius. We could choose a dream that everyone else thinks its impossible.

We assume that the Best and Greatest is the only reason to create anything. How about we create ANYTHING just to get the wheels turning? Just to see what happens? Just love it, whatever it is. If we Loved Adventure, our “unlimited possibilities” would multiply to abundance as all the “rules of the known” can be thrown out the window.

Thinking builds the Mind of a Creator. With each new discovery drawn from our own Mind, we’ll begin to see how we always find answers we are looking for. Creating is all about answering the next unknown question. CAUAC is helping us SEE how when we Ask a Question in Communion with a Divine Creator, we will always get an Answer. Every Answer will present an entirely new set of Questions. We’ll be more inclined to Ask as we Know the Answers will come.

Our own worst answers will lead to better answers. We won’t see our challenges as roadblocks, only the Divine Insight to look in a different direction. Some of the very best creations were manifested from Human failures. We won’t be afraid to Try and Fail, when we’re “Failing” to “Learn.”

To all my relations, may we take a chance on a wild idea that shows little evidence of leading anywhere. May we give thanks for all our wild ideas. May we pay attention to the wild ideas of IMIX that help us recognize the thoughts were introduced from somewhere outside of our own train of thoughts. We’ll know, because these “wild ideas” will come to us while we’re thinking about something else. It wouldn’t take a lot of thought about the experience to discern the Divine Nature of the idea. When we know our thoughts are Divinely Guided, we hold the Wisdom of a Source we can turn to with every question. The Creator intended a Relationship. Kneeling before an alter, someone is listening to our prayers. A Divine Creator knows our thoughts and the condition of our Heart. We are intended to know we are in a Relationship. At the Dawn of a New Awakening, it’s the first and most important Truth we can know. May we create something for the pleasure of it without any motive for a worldly return. May we create as an adventure just to see the Relationship we create, while we’re creating. May we recognize the Divine Inspiration that led us to choose the next color, the next embellishment, the next innovation to its function, meaning, and purpose.

PS. I’ve been in need of a spiritual revival. Everything happens at the perfect time. It seems like I’ve been waiting for something. I’m just continuing one step after another, and yet feeling I’m in the same place. Like the “almost” place extended for eternity. 🙂
I am grateful for the Renewal and Regeneration that is planned for us. We’re making the climb to reveal every Human limitation so the Supreme Creator can create the Miracle that will overcome them all. The Higher we Intend and the Greater we Fail, the Greater will be the Miracle that overcomes it.

3 Crocodile/IMIX (Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI   I’SB)

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI   I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg. In Mayan is the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth. The beginning of each new era, this star in Orion appears with the rising Sun, heralding the creation of a new World cycle.  Cherokee, IMIX- Totem-Dragon. The energy to understand all things sacred; creation energy, connection for visions, to learn the mysteries of the Universal Knowledge. The dragon carries the source energy of life, revered in ancient cultures for power and wisdom.
