11 Reed / BEN – Vision Quest: Day 11 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

11 Reed / BEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 11 guides an Intention of Resolution. 11 tunes us in like a Divine set of antennae to a Higher Frequency of Consciousness. Through a Vision of Higher Clarity we Resolve the Divine Way forward to claim our place in The Creation. The 11th Hour from dawn is the evening before sunset.

Reed/BEN is the Guiding Light for Family and Home. Tone 11 is correspondent as the state of mind. Our OWN Time is the reason for everything we do in the world.

Reed/BEN resides in the East, the place where a New Light Dawns. A New Light is Dawning on the Solstice, a Time and Place to see where we are and claim our place in the Universe. Tone 11 facilitates dynamic change through simplification and “fitting in.” All the Signs are Symbols of being in the Divine Place we’re meant to Be.

The Perspective of Reed/BEN is the Consciousness of the real meaning and purpose of everything. We LIVE for the Time when what we do is all our choice. Reed/BEN holds very High Expectations. Knowing the value of free time, the Reed in us, is the shadow that rules with a “steel pipe.” We think of what we SHOULD be doing. The advice given for Reed is to bend like a garden hose. Blessings will flow out.

We’re supposed to be doing what we feel like doing that makes us happy. Is that POSSIBLE? It would be awesome if it is, and surely it COULD be. One thing I’ve learned is Consciousness allows me more choices. I believe in a Time and Place for everything. I’ve seen Miracles in changes that I didn’t work for, but that changed on their own. ALL we have to do is be Willing and Ask for anything our Heart Desires. Even better if it’s something we can’t seem to pull off on our own.

Our best demonstration of Divinity is not perfection, but where we turn for perfection when we fail from our Human limitations. Claiming who we are as Human is as important as claiming who we are in Spirit.

I HAD to go to the doctor by the end of June for a wellness program at work. I’d waited till the 11th hour. It was in synchronicity with a shift of Balance. I told a friend that getting my life in balance was a major intention for 2019-2020 and how happy I was to find this doctor at a Natural Clinic. It was a dream from unconscious thoughts I’ve been thinking forever… wanting to get my life in Balance, and seeming to make no headway at all.

It was a happy beginning for a new journey of thoughts and ways. I can already see the changes that will happen with a Conscious plan. (I started another journal to record my physical life, what I’m doing for my body. It’s starting simple with a little more water, breathing, a short walk, and eating more vegetables. I can do it with a partner.

This is a YEAR of BALANCE on a Planetary Scale. The Year Bearer of the 365-day Haab calendar is 7 Road/EB – the top of the pyramid of a Human Climb to Destiny, the Balancing Place. This is an Important Haab year for Humanity and the Road to our Destiny. On August 22, 2019, 10 Eagle/MEN in the 13th uinal of Ascension, we can expect to see our future, and all the things possible within our grasp.

The Elders always remind us to look across the Medicine Wheel to know where you are. The flowers blooming on our branches were the Seeds from last Fall, in the Unknown of the West. In the Winter we dreamed of the Seed’s life in the Spring. The first buds were evidence of abundance in our future. Now the blooms are open and the fruit will soon appear on the vine. The Bee Keepers are spreading their honey around. What was your Dream last Fall?

October 31, 2018 manifested the pilgrimage to Ek’ Balam and a Dream to stand together on Holy Ground. It was 13 years since Ian’s passing and marked his Mayan Destiny Kin, 12 AHAU. It was 13 Sak/Zak on the Haab calendar, the month the hunters asked for forgiveness for shedding the blood of living things. It was a place Intended as Oneness for the Whole. The Seeds of Fall’s harvest believed in Miracles coming true.

The Solstice is a Universal Event, the Movement of Earth that holds all things in the Balance. She sways so that all living things on Earth will have their Seasons of Light and Dark. Do you see the beginning of a new season in your life?

The Haab Month Sek/Tzec
The 365-day Haab month reflects Intention on a planetary scale. Today is 0 Sek, the first day of the Haab month (20 days, numbered 0-19) observed as the celebration of Honey. Offerings are made to the four Chaaks (rain gods) at the Bee Keeper Festival, and the rims of offering plates were covered in honey. The Spring Honey was shared by the hive owners with the community.

Reed/BEN is aligned to share the Sweetness of Love. We have learned from the Dog that each Human must make their own Divine Journey of Consciousness. We are meant to Own the Truth that when WE Ask, WE Receive just as we are. To Believe in our Self we must claim all the credit for the Choice.

Reed is associated with the “hollow bone,” the teaching that the human flesh must be removed for the Light to Shine through the open channel to the Creator. Our Human “flesh” is the ego, our own determination of how things “should be.” A prayer for Divine Will allows us to be happy, just as it gives us the Inner Strength to stand on Faith in adversity.

Reed/BEN is a day observed to Bless the Home, to See and Acknowledge the Blessing of Family and Community. The Maya still observe Reed/BEN as a day to not only to resolve family relationships, but to check in on neighbors, like family. The point is not to check up on whether things are “right or wrong” but to offer a helping hand. I was divinely reminded how important a helping hand can be.

To all my relations, may we remember how Divine it Is to Know we are Enough, more than enough. May we give thanks for the Divine Provision for every part of us to be happy. When we are Conscious and Willing to move on a Divine Command, we are always in the right Time and Place. Human needs time to Dream and be Happy.

May we Resolve that a prayer for Divine Will means there is a Time and Place for our Dream to come True. God Knows our Heart’s Desire. May we remember the Power in every New Beginning, and begin a new Season in gratitude for the birds and the bees, and the Season that manifests the Dream of Spring, promising the Fruit of our Spirit, producing even stronger Seeds this Fall. May we Kneel in Faith that a Divine Creator marked a place of Light for us.

in lak’ech, I am another you

11 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed I’hya)

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeaver to bring peace, harmony, and order to all of their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, many have marriage or business problems because of inflexible views and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson of Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe.

Cherokee, Reed I’hya: Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini. Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind.  A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. 1. Would you please comment on my question about the Haab Year count? If 6/21/2019 is 0 Sek, the Haab New Year you mentioned on 2/20/2019 lands on 4 Kayeb. I’ve always thought that the Haab New Year was celebrated on 0 Pop, but how did you come to the Haab New Year date? Thank you!

    • I’m just learning along with you. Kenneth Johnson may be the best scholar of the West, learning from direct relationships/travel. I’m always looking for more resources on the Haab. The synchronicity of that one show up around us. Last year was a 6 Deer, and it was all about a change of momentum… Deer the priest on a mission for Humanity. So this year we are completing the pyramid climb as Human/Road/EB. Yes – I love how all the calendars fit together!! love, debra

    • Greetings – I wanted to follow up with some new information. I’ve made contact with one of the Haab resources and it appears this is a common issue – two systems marking different dates as the New Year. This leaves us a mystery to solve, so I’ve reached out to a couple of contacts that might point us in a good direction. The Smithsonian contact is calculating on a New Year in April… so there’s a big difference in resources. More when I know more. Thanks for raising the question. love, in lak’ech, Debra
