3 Monkey / CHUEN – A Divine Atonement: Day 3 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

3 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 3 is the first Day of Movement in the 13-day cycle of Creation. We bring Life to a new Vibration of Spirit through an Intention of Creation.

On Tone 2 we Offered our Dreams to the Creator with all our Hopes of Love, and our Fears of limitation. Holding the Wisdom of Divine Will, we Believed in the Creator’s Dream for the new Seed of Divine Consciousness.

We are moved into action by Monkey/CHUEN, the Divine Consciousness of the Creator in us. CHUEN will set the frequency of our vibration, our way of movement from the beginning to the end. Through the Consciousness of CHUEN, we’ll be inspired by all the Love the Dog finds to create our own Beauty of Love.

It’s all a game of Consciousness to the Monkey, who moves from one thing of Beauty to another. Monkey is the Weaver of All Time, who weaves the tapestry of our life into a thing of Beauty.

Dog/OC awakened our Consciousness to the Love in all things. CHUEN opens our eyes to the Beauty of Love. CHUEN believes in the Beauty  everywhere and in all things. With the Gift of Time, CHUEN explores all places of Being, marveling at the dark threads that so perfectly contrast the light. CHUEN has a sense of Humor. Healed of emotional attachments, we’ll follow Monkey’s journey of curiosity.

Ixchel, Mayan goddess of fertility and healing

Weaving is a Sacred Art to the Maya. The Goddess Ixchel appears in 3 stages of life as the Divine Feminine. As the young Goddess, Ixchel is shown as the weaver, connected to the Tree of Life. Through Divine Discernment Ixchel weaves the Beauty of Life. As a Sacred practice, weavers are Divinely Guided by choices of color and beauty from one thread to the next. The serpent on her head is the sign of Movement Directed by Divine Consciousness.

We create the tapestry of Life with each new creation we make a part of our experience. Whatever we create, holds the thoughts, intentions, and Pure Spirit of a selfless experience for a purpose of Beauty – whether it is the Beauty of function, form, movement, or communication. The BEAUTY will identify the LOVE of something inside.

Monkey/CHUEN resides in the West, the place of our unknown future. Guided by CHUEN, we will be Inspired by the Possibilities of the Unknown. After all, when nothing is Known, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. ANYTHING. Monkey connects the faculties of Intellect and Imagination. Genius things can happen. Mystical things can happen. ANYTHING can happen.

Offering/MULUC intends to CONSECRATE the Experience of Love and Creation as the INHERENT Design that the New Seed WILL Remember and Search to Find… Believing it will be found. We offered our Dream into the Hands of a Supreme Creator to be perfected in the Seed. Believing, the Monkey in us is going to want to see what happens, and how it all happens. Monkey/CHUEN will move us by the Joy of the Possibilities, unafraid of encountering any darkness. That will only make the journey more interesting.

The Cherokee Day Sign is the Raccoon, the friendly trickster. Raccoon is the one who finds treasures in our trash. Traveling with Monkey through all Time, Raccoon is likely to poke fun at the treasures we thought were worthless. All they needed was a cleanup with a little water.

CHUEN holds the Element of Water that holds the Ether of Spirit. Between CHUEN and RACCOON, there will be Holy Water splashed all around. We’ll be taking our worn out dreams to the river to wash them up and see what Beauty is under all the dust. We might even explore some very dark places, just to see if they’ve changed any.

If I had a magic wand, I’d keep it near me during this trecena. ANYTHING is possible. I AM inclined to sprinkle invisible faerie dust. We have NOTHING to lose and an Inspiration to Gain. Some of the most genius ideas come out of wild and crazy ideas. Monkey is the Muse for an Expression from our Self.

To all my relations, may we Leap into action like a Monkey with wild ideas and many threads of Beauty to add to our Life. May we willingly enter the darkness, believing in the Light of Divine Will. May we See and Acknowledge the Divinity in ever Choice to Create. May we create the “Times of our Life” as the “Dream on the Pillow” for a New Dawn of Awakening.

May we give thanks for the Spiritual Gifts to Discern Love and Beauty through all our senses. May we Consciously Choose the threads tied to the strings of our heart.

in lak’ech, i am another you

3 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI:  Racoon’s star symbol is Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy. Magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart. Totem Monkey: The energy of humor, the artisan and craftsmen of the Universal energy. Helps us to lighten up in all situations, was the glyph of the 4th world creation in conjunction with OC so that we would have humor in all of our endeavors. The humor, when added to a serious situation will allow you to have a less destructive pattern of resolution. This is the “Cosmic joke” energy to help us transcend the duality. A life path of comedian, actor, artist, artisan writer, satirist, any path is enhanced with this humor in conjunction with the creative energies.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
