6 Monkey / CHUEN – Transition of Light: Day 6 of 13

TRECENA OF TRANSFORMER/CIMI: A MAJOR LIFE CHANGE

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Peak Tone 6 holds the Intention of Flow. Through a rhythm and pattern of Movement we generate Momentum.  “A body in motion will tend to stay in motion.” Intention is the Force to keep moving us forward, back and forth.

Monkey/CHUEN is the Creator and a Master of the Arts. Holding affinity with Dog/OC, they represent the Gifts to be a Divine Human Being. Dog/OC Knows Love everywhere, and Monkey/CHUEN Expresses the Beauty through our heart.

Monkey/CHUEN is a day of alchemy and mystical experiences of the mind. CHUEN is the “weaver of time.” As the Master of Arts, CHUEN weaves time as the tapestry of our Life, creating Beauty through the Contrast. Monkey/CHUEN helps us to see things from an Intuitive perspective. CHUEN is a celebration of Consciousness.

The Monkey is a trickster, like the Cherokee Racoon. We’re guided to have a sense of humor. The Elders say that it takes courage to Know Thyself. With the help of Monkey/CHUEN, we can see the Human comedy and drama. To the Monkey and Raccoon life is a performance, to prove what we can do. The Monkey guides us to create a Spectacle in our Imagination.

CHUEN resides in the West, the direction of the Unknown Experience, and the Darkness of Unlimited Possibility. The Monkey leads us into the realm of our Imagination. Holding the Element of Water, the Monkey/CHUEN can raise our Spirits. Monkey can help us overcome emotions with a gift of curiosity.

The 6th Tone and 6th Hour of Light are when the ways and means are drawn together. Holding a Divine Intention on behalf of the Whole, our vibration moves in Harmony and Equity with The Creation. Lower vibrations and discordant tones are drawn in sympathy to the One. This is a day to Dream how far you could go in a brand new life.

Monkey/CHUEN offers a gift of objectivity to see our own Special Talent, with a Sense that something was meant to be. CHUEN can change the “rules of our human games.” CHUEN is the Master Artist that hardly ever finishes what was started. We don’t HAVE to finish a creation, if there’s something else we’d LOVE to do.

To all my relations, may we conceive the Darkness as the Creative Void with no limits, where we can Create to o ur Heart’s Desire. May we see the Divinity of the Gift and call upon the Highest One to manifest our Dream for the Highest Good of the Whole.

When we Time Travel to the Past, Present and Future, may we look for the Beauty we didn’t see before. May we Flow with Divine thoughts of Beauty and Express the Creation of Love that our Heart Desires.

in lak’ech, i am another you

6 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. Links to sources and other resources of study are offered on the Daykeeper Resources Page. ~Debra]
