THE TRECENA OF NIGHT/AKBAL: DREAMS ARE TRUE
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Are you dreaming? Or, are you asleep? Wake up and Dream, then go back to sleep.
Tone 5 raises the Intention of Empowerment. Tone 5 represents the center of the cube as a central organizing Force that manages Resources for Application. After surveying the field of our Dreams, our next Common thought is to gather the tools that are needed.
We HAVE built the Pillars of a Dream. We couldn’t gather the tools if we hadn’t already seen the possibility of the end. AKBAL draws back the veil to see the Truth of our Creation. The Perfect end lies somewhere in the back of our mind, a Spark beyond imagination. We wouldn’t gather the tools if we weren’t drawn by the Light of a Possibility, and an End we Love.
On Tone 5 Faith is Raised to Believing by an Intention that will prove we have everything we need. Tone 5 offers the Light of the Means and Ways.
Deer/MANIK is also called Hand, representing Human’s Hand in fulfilling the Creator’s Dream. Our Meaning and Purpose is to Imagine the Beauty that can be created from the things we Love. No one else will see them the same way.
The Deer’s Gift is Vigilant Consciousness. MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan priest who dedicates itself to a Mission of Love on behalf of the Whole. The glyph illustrates the Human hand that reaches to grasp a thread of Ether that completes a Divine Circuit of Power. The Deer’s Highest Intention is to Reach for the Connection to Love through a Divine Communion.
The Mayan priest fixes its eyes on the Source of Divine Love, kneeling in Humility from the world below. By Virtue of a Divine Meaning and Purpose, the Deer wields the Power of Harmonic Resonance, capable to draw lower vibrations into sympathy with the Pure Vibration of Love. The Deer doesn’t demand that anyone follow, dedicating itself as the One to carry out the rituals and ceremonies on behalf of the whole.
Deer/MANIK demonstrates the Truth of Integrity. The best way to walk the walk is like the Deer, standing silently in the Truth. Others don’t have to defend themselves when they are free to make their own choices. We were each given our own Divine Ways. All we need to see is another Human Being kneeling at an altar to remember to say our own prayers and to Remember We Do Believe in a Power Above.
We completed the Wisdom of a Experience following the journey of the Dog/OC. The Dog and the Monkey offered a realm of Creation in the world Below. We shared our Highest Human Dream with the Seed of a New Generation. A Supreme Creator’s Highest Intention is the Balance of ALL things. ALL Things hold a Way and a Path through the Universe. The One and the Whole exist as an expanding Experience Created by Time. In our Dreams we can imagine the Truth of Dreams on every scale. They are defined by Universal Laws that apply to the One and the Whole.
Night/AKBAL lifts the veil for us to share the Creator’s Dream that was Intention to be as Real as anything else that’s True. Our Dreams are the Sanctuary where the Light of “Possibility” Always Shines. A veil is drawn aside for us to see that “Impossible” isn’t True. And, all we have to do is Remember to Ask, and admit from our knees that we don’t know what we’re doing, so we’re dedicating our Life to be Guided From Above.
Deer/MANIK resides in the West, the Direction of our Response to the Unknown. MANIK helps us to find a direction through Vigilant Consciousness. MANIK is a symbol of Spiritual Stability with one foot firmly planted in each of the 4 directions. The Deer stands by the Truth of Human limitations all the way. The Deer knows that Divine Wisdom is shared from Above, and that’s the only way We Believe It’s True. The Deer offers a place to stand that you know has been determined through a Choice of Consciousness. It’s always safe to stand where the Deer has claimed Higher Ground. And, honoring the Sacred Right of Choice, from the Deer’s Higher Ground, we can Dream of our own Higher Ground.
The Lord of Creation wanted to see the Divine Ways that each of us could create to reach the end. The Elders on the indigenous path said, “Don’t try to be like me. Create your own myth.” They said that the ways they shared were Proven and Worthy Tools that we could learn and use our own way. Deer/MANIK connects the circuit to a Divine Consciousness Above where we can see we were always meant to know Our Way is an expression of Love that will be like no other. A Divine Creator wanted to share the Reality of Our Divine Dreams.
MANIK holds the Element of Water, used by the Mayan priest for Blessings, Initiations, Baptisms and Purification. Deer/MANIK offers a Gift of Living Water for our Heart to Believe in Love that Intends to always be. MANIK is the giver of Spiritual Tools. Today we can be Inspired by a Truth as the staff we will carry in our Dreams – the One Truth and the Light we will always Know at an altar. We are intended to have One Hand Holding on to the Promise of Divine Justice that will always Stand.
MANIK holds the power to push beyond the “negative” vibrations in the world, by keeping a Vigilant Eye on the Future, and the Dream Above that’s True. A Divine Creator intended the Mission to be Easy. We don’t have to care what anyone else thinks. We can breath the Sigh of Relief when we grasp the Truth that the Creator always knows the Truth. Kneeling in Humility we can also see “we’ve been there too.” We are ALL in our own Times and Places and EVERY Time and Place is Worthy for the Wisdom of our own experience. We don’t know what we’re doing. MANIK allows God to have the final word on everything. MANIK carries on.
MANIK has one Special Spiritual Tool that holds exponential value over all the others… a Divine Provision for every Human limitation. We can open our heart to share ALL our Human limitations with the One Above who can connect us to the Whole Legion of Light Above. If we are dedicated to a path that leads to an altar, we will Always Remember to Ask where the Light Shines the Truth of Divine Ways.
There’s a Dream that your Human Mind of Reason has drawn a veil over with “impossible.” It’s not True. I always wanted to go to the Mayan ruins and cried that it was “impossible.” It took a Dream with a Higher Meaning and Purpose to manifest the Creation. I was Compelled to make the Pilgrimage when a date suggested out of thin air was Ian Xel Lungold’s Mayan birthday on Halloween, 13 years after his passing. I HAD to go, and suddenly I could see that “impossible” was only a plane ticket and hotel room. It was never “impossible.” Only a matter of dedicating Time to the Purpose. That was a major milestone in my life at 65. I Believed that Impossible Dreams can come True, when the Dream leads to a Divine End. It was all a matter of Divine Timing, when a Pilgrimage could prove that Dreams come true.
“Impossible” is only a Human state of mind that has yet to apply the Truth of Divine Possibilities. Divine Possibilities are True.
5 MANIK guides us to look at all our Spiritual Tools – things we Love to do that we enjoy following to the end. We all have our own special talents we learned through one application or another. In our Dreams we can imagine how we have every single talent and tool that we need for a Divine New Direction in our Life. It was only a matter of taking inventory to open a path of Faith for a New Truth of Love to break through. 5 MANIK can show us the ways and the means for a Dream we never imagined we held the Power to Create. When we see the Light, no one will have to tell us to follow a Dream our Heart Desires. We can ALWAYS believe that when we are Asking to be Guided to a Dream we Love, One Above Who Loves will share a way that’s perfect for Our Time and Place.
To all my relations, may we Give Thanks for the Means and Ways of a Creator of Divine Genius. All we have to do is Believe there’s something greater than we are. It’s easy to Remember when we’re kneeling at an altar, sharing the Truth of our Human limitation to manifest the Beauty of the Creator’s Love.
May we Honor all the ways that a Divine Creator can draw us to the Same Divine End. May we remember that Silence is Golden and the Movement of Unconditional Love will create a Vibration that Hearts will Feel is True, even hidden behind a veil.
in lak’ech, i am another you

5 Deer/MANIK (Hand), (Cherokee Deer Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
