5 Dog / OC – Winds of Change: Day 5 of 13

TRECENA OF TRANSFORMER/CIMI: HOLDING A VISION OF THE FUTURE

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Dog / OC

Greetings Kin,

Tone 5 raises the Intention of Empowerment. A Common Human thought of Creation is to gather all the tools before we lay a hand to the task. We don’t have to follow our Divine instincts, though we hold higher faith in the results when we do. We are Empowered when we take inventory of our ways and means to complete the end. We know “we can.”

Tone 5 represents the “center of the cube,” a central organizing Force that manages resources for application. Tone 5 offers a different lens through which to grow our perspective of “possibility.” Tone 5 is a Divine Step we can choose to take. Every step builds our Faith with the Truth that we ARE investing Time and Love toward the Life of our Dreams.

CIMI the Transformer is guiding us through the chaos of change. Something has to change to let an old life rest in peace, and the New Life can carry on. We’re in the unfamiliar territory of Higher Love.

The more we Know the Truth, the more we will be called upon for the Divine Sacrifice.  (At least that’s how it feels from the perspective of Human’s ego.) Those are the thoughts we’re working to turn into Light.

Dog/OC guides the Wisdom of Unconditional Love. Dog resides in the North, relating to Wisdom and the Element of Air. The Sacred Breath is critical to our Divine Faculties of thought. Life depends on the next breath. As a Day Sign of darkness, the Dog demonstrates the ways and means of Love that Human can relate to as a “perspective” without the filters we would associate with a Human image. (There isn’t a Human personality we can imagine without an Ego.)

The Element of Air can change our mind when we draw the Sacred Breath of Consciousness. The Elements of Air holds the accelerant for the Fire Within. The Divine Truth of Love can change our mind and the whole countenance of our being. We’re willing to face the ups and downs of Life without a care, when we One in a Relationship of Unconditional Love. When Love is True, we allow our Self to Fall into a Divine Trail of thoughts about Life and our Future.  The Dog demonstrates the Divine ways and means of Love.

Dog/OC holds an Affinity with the Monkey/CHUEN, residing together at the top of the “uinal pyramid” in positions 10 and 11. 10 is the symbol of Human’s whole investment of Love in the Higher One, giving back and paying forward. 11 is a symbol of Divine Consciousness, a Spiritual Awakening and a Divine Place of Alignment with Truth Above and Truth Below. Dog demonstrates the Beauty of Love, while Monkey conceives the Power to Create it on purpose. Together they holds the Central ways and means, the perspective that creates a Beautiful Life.

We were never intended to be martyrs for Love. We were intended to have a Good Time. The Dog helps us see that “happy trails” are easier to follow. Why DO we follow trails that lead anywhere else? The Monkey/CHUEN shares a Sense of Humor to break down our Ego. We only need ONE tool to create a Beautiful Life, a Choice to follow thoughts of Love.

The Dog is a symbol of the totem wolf that lives in a pack. The Elders say that some totems appear for a time to provide support for a specific purpose. Though, when the Dog brings its Love, we will forever be a Member of the Pack. The Dog is faithful and loyal and defends us in every corner. Love is the Power to lead us back to the stars and the Truth from the Beginning. The Maya saw the Milky Way as a path of Light and “the place the dog ran.”

Dog/OC lies at the threshold of our Dreams with a way to cross to the “otherside” of Life. OC can share a Truth about Love we haven’t considered, how our own Love grows in the darkness. The Love we leave behind will grow in proportion to all the Time Love was waiting to be found. The Deer knows that Silence can be Golden as the way of Love. Love that stood its ground will shine even brighter when the treasure IS found.

To all my relations, may we follow a Dog’s trail of Love for a  Divine Perspective on the ways and means to Love. After we smile and watch the Dog’s way, may we imagine it as Love’s way. May we see the Proof of Love’s Power in the Dog. A Dog doesn’t know a stranger. Even Humans that find it hard to express Love will walk right up to a Dog for the Sacred Exchange. We know the Sacred Exchange is promised where there is no fear. Only fear can stop us from knowing the Truth in the end, when we take our Love and run away.

We’re all Dogs on the inside. Maybe we can learn something about our Fear to Love. May we draw the Light of Truth through the Sacred Breath and ASK the Divine Questions that create the “happy trails” of thought. If we’re willing to follow, the Dog will charm us into Loving back and forth.

May we Honor the One who manifested the  Creation of Love as the Truth of everything. There can be no end to Love that grows with Time. May we surrender to the Dog to experience a Charmed Life.

in lak’ech, i am another you

THE SACRED BREATH
We can draw the Power of Consciousness through the Sacred Breath. The Elders say that in 3 sacred breaths, we convey a “state of well-being” to the body. A steady-even breath tells the body that “everything is okay,” helping to quiet the mind of reason. Breath can raise us to a higher state of mind. A nurse once shared that we could add years to our life by adding 5 conscious breaths every day. We rarely notice when we are “holding our breath.” We are inclined to do so when we are “waiting for the Truth.” We were given a Divine Choice to Breath to call upon the Truth spoken in the Wind.

The Wind holds the Love that is Faithful and always by our side. The Wind holds the Voice of the Creator and the dissemination of the Divine Truth.

The Sacred Breath Work page offers some ways and means of the Divine practice.

HOLDING THE WAY OF THE JAGUAR: The Power of Gratitude
I’m grateful that a Divine Creator intended to be a part of our Life from the first breath to the last, and that Love will lead the journey to the “otherside.”

5 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI)

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.

Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time.  Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots.  All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance.  Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential.  Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
