THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK: DISSEMINATION OF THE SEED
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Human’s Divine Divine Discernment of the Truth is manifested in cycles of Duality, through Darkness and Light. In the 1st Hour of Light, the One Above shares the Light for a Divine Inspiration. Through the experience, Human conceived Light as “a new beginning.” When we raise our head to look for the Signs of the Time, somewhere within the Light raises the Question of Higher Hopes and Aspirations.
No matter how beautiful the Divine Inspiration may be, the Truth doesn’t matter until we know it applies to us. Now we know it’s the same for the Whole. We have our own Time to worry about. A cost that Human must bear for the experience is a Divine Instinct to Fight for Survival. It may make sense to Human’s mind of Reason, but it never makes any sense to Fight for Love.
When Love demands a way, we generate the Force that pushes away, like a magnet’s opposite pole. The louder and more forceful our Intentions become, the more the ripples of Human emotions share thoughts of our own doubts and fears in thin air. Like an aura, a dark cloud hangs over every experience as the “obligation energy” like guilt, that shares a vibration of expectation, and the anticipated disappointment that’s bound to follow. It’s so hard to see, what feels so “hard” as the Darkness of Not-Knowing Why within.
Peak Tone 6 raises the Intention of Flow. Through a rhythm and pattern of movement we manifest the Force of Momentum. Turning back and forth between the thoughts of darkness and light, over Time we realize the Truth of our Progress. Back and forth can feel like 1 step back for every step forward. On Tone 6 our Heart is awakened by the Hope of a Higher End than we considered as a possibility. The Truth of an exponential Force of Truth shines it’s “First Light.” Number 6 symbolizes the Power of 2 Divine Trinities aligned as One (3 + 3).
The 12th uinal holds the Intention to raise us to the Highest Understanding of the Creator’s Dream for our Life. Deer/MANIK holds Position 7, guiding us to See the Truth of “all that is” and “all that is not.” MANIK’s guiding Light is a perspective of Vigilant Consciousness. MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan priest, who dedicates a path to Remember. The Deer’s defense is standing silently on Truth like Holy Ground. Truth speaks for itself over Time. The Mayan priest counts the days on behalf of the Whole.
During a 10-year period of personal darkness, I was desperate to belong. But, suddenly, out of the blue for the first time in my life, I didn’t belong anywhere. I thought the change from working from home to routine employment would manifest the experience. It didn’t work out that way for a lot of reasons that took a long time to see. Central to the experience was the morning drive to work, repeating over and over an affirmation for a Divine Way – and while I held the prayer, also the Human thought – so I could deal with “these people.” I walked in fore-armed to “deal with these people.” I was pushing away with every entrance, and the Truth in our Heart is always written on our face. It’s clear now. I know the Truth of a Divine Perspective to see it for a better way in the future. My only thought was self defense. It never even occurred to me that to create Love, my best affirmation wasn’t my own way to grasp Love – but to look for SOMETHING, ANYTHING I could Love about each one – just for being. It took a long time to know to look for Love in one another. And, it’s still easy to forget… a Truth that ONLY makes Common Sense.
In the darkness, I reached for a way. The Only Way I could think of was Counting the Days and dedicating Time to the Purpose. It was the only way to know for sure I gave my heart. Dedicating vigilant consciousness from the beginning to the end of one 13-day cycle can raise the Divine Truth of Time. The Truth we are intended to see is ordered by Time. There is a “Time for Knowing.” It comes after Feeling the Reason it matters.
Every climb to higher ground is made from the Holy Ground of our last Ascension. We were guided by Offering/MULUC before to know the Scion was created as a Living Sacrifice to witness the Truth of ALL Time. Only, it’s Human’s choice what we will look to see. Mother Earth is the proof that Beauty was intended to be the big picture. Today we know the Truth that the Only Way to Remember is to turn to the Truth Above for every step. Wind/IK shares the Truth we Know as Wisdom when we hear it. The only way to Know the Truth Above is through the Divine Atonement of an Offering. The Scion was created for an Offering of Time, dedicated to the purpose. A miracle beyond Human limitations is Truth we know when we share the Divine Mind of the One.
The glyph illustrates the Deer’s face as a Hand, another name for MANIK. We were created as the Hand Below, dedicated in Service to the Hand Above. The forefinger and thumb grasp a thread of Ether and Light of Truth that completes a Divine Circuit for Love that Flows through our Heart. MANIK holds a Power of Harmonic Resonance… a Force of Attraction that draws lower vibrations into sympathy with the Higher Vibration of the One.
If my morning affirmation had been to look for Love in everyone, “giving Love” would have been written on my face. Love is the Force of Beauty and Beauty is a Feature of our Consciousness that was manifested for the Scion.
Deer/MANIK resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Future. MANIK shares a Light of True North as the Place to Go. Holding the Element of Water, MANIK offers a Blessing to our Human Emotions. Through Humility we remember how they serve a Divine Purpose. Our Human emotions raise the Questions of Life, the darkness of the Unknown that we Live to find out. The priest uses Holy Water for baptisms, purifications, blessings, and consecrations. Today we know a Divine Truth to follow. MANIK is a giver of Spiritual Tools, the Truth with legs to stand in all 4 directions of Life. We are offered One Special Tool to be our staff to lean on. MANIK’s Highest Tool of Spirit is the Truth of a Divine Provision for every limitation. The Divine Provision is Time. It’s a Divine Reason to Count the Days for the Divine Time for Knowing. We know a Divine End is possible with the Offering of our Daily prayers.
Marking the Time of Experience is an important tradition. I moved last year and though I offered a blessing to the new place, somehow I missed the big picture of a major life change. It was a first move in 11 years. I didn’t go far, but we never move without moving on from a Time, Place, and all the “stuff of daily life” we leave behind. I want to mark EVERY major occasion in the future, so I will remember better than before. We could mark today for Knowing that we are Moving On with a New Life, and we will find Peace with Time when we kneel in humility to our human limitations to Ask the One for a Reason that matters to our Heart. The Power of Love is Multiplied when we remember to ask on behalf of the whole.
To all my relations, may we give thanks for the Holy Ground of our own Divine Discernment of the Truth. It’s the best that Human has to offer. May we let it go by the Truth of our own limitations, to know there is always a Higher Perspective to reveal the Truth of Love.
May we give thanks for the Light at an altar that can dispel the darkness of every fear. May we Feel the Blessing as our path is consecrated with the Holy Living Water of Love. May we Count the Days as the Spiritual Tools of Time, and the chance, Today, to raise the Beauty of Tomorrow.

6 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
