THE TRECENA OF STAR/LAMAT: ASCENSION OF TRUTH AND LIGHT
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Tone 5 raises the Intention of Empowerment. Tone 5 relates to a central organizing Force that inventories resources for application. In the 5th hour of creation, we gather the tools for the work to begin. We’ve already seen the colors to choose the paint, or the best ingredients for the recipe.
This is a day to take stock of our self, to raise the Truth “I Can.” Sometimes we need to see that Divine Justice is True. We need to be reminded that we are One. On Road/EB we can all share a Common Thought to raise the Truth of who we are.
Road/EB is also known as Human, representing Human’s Road to Destiny. Human’s destiny is the Journey through Time. We have to see things more than once for the Truth to register. Anything can happen once. When it happens twice, we look for it to happen again… by Divine Design.
A “Road” is written in our mind. The glyph illustrates the Road on a human head. On days guided by EB, a Choice is ours to make. EB connects Humanity through common thoughts.
Road/EB marks a turning point – a crossroad that relates to the Whole. Residing in the South, EB is an experience with the Intention of Right Relationship. The Element of Earth relates to an experience in our everyday life.
We are meant to see the Truth in a tangible way.
George Floyd was killed on Road/EB, and the Day is marked for the whole forever. Road/EB marks the Synchronicity of a Divine Calendar, so we can Believe it’s true. All things were given a “way” of living, a path of being. It’s clear to see in the butterflies and all things that follow a path of migration. Road/EB raises the Light of the Saq’Be, the calendar of Human life the Tzolk’in by Yucatec tradition, called the Cholq’ij calendar by K’iche Maya.
Both calendars share the same Destiny Kins, though the traditions of the North turn clockwise and the K’iche in the South turn from East to the North, counterclockwise. They begin life from the Wisdom of Innoscence and through the Unknown, manifest the Truth of Love through Relationship with one another with the Natural World. In the North, we’re born into Relationships to learn the Unknown that leads to Divine Wisdom. Two traditions balance the Truth of ALL Time. (Expect to be confused when you find information on the calendar that are in conflict. Names are different between traditions. Most daykeepers pick one and stick with it in terms of order and chronology, yet by any name, the descriptions of the Tones and Day Signs are all the same.
“The Cholq’ij, or Calendar of Life, is the Maya tracking of time in relation to the conception and development of a human being until the time of birth. This calendar has 260 days (9 months in the Gregorian Calendar), which are divided into 13 months of 20 days or energies (Ch’umilal). From the moment of conception until birth there is a process of twenty cycles. When a child is born he or she is born with his or her Ch’umil, which means Star. This star is the light that is born with this new being. It is the mission that each human being brings to this reality. The Ch’umilal is a destiny. It is a map, a guide, or a structure that the Ajaw (Great Spirit) gives each person to walk their path of life, to find harmony and balance.” A K’iche/Quiche calendar source: SacredRoad.org
The Yucatec and K’iche follow different counts on the Haab, a calendar based on the zenithal Sun for a specific Time and Place. The Mayan calendars are synchronized with universal/astronomical events. The calendar is Human’s Greatest Gift to see a Divine Design for an order of thoughts raised to consciousness. We are given an inherent set of questions to answer from the Spark of Love within. One leads to another, like the Truth of Love always leads to the thoughts of tomorrow.
The direction South = Right Relationship; the Truth = We CAN. The only question left to answer is if We Will.
Today something matters. Will we look without and within? Will we see the Truth together? Will we CHOOSE to see the Truth that WE CAN make a difference that matters? Or, will we let the Time go by?
Road/EB raises the value of the Truth we share in Common for the manifestation of Divine Wisdom in Harmony and Equity. We remember words of wisdom shared before. The Golden Rule can shine a new light, when we see the Truth – we love each other. We will walk the mile in someone else’s shoes to Share the Truth of how it feels, and we will Know. We can always Know the Truth, when we’re willing to face the darkness. Facing the darkness raises the Light.
The Cherokee name is the Rattlesnake Tooth, an implement of spiritual medicine used to break the skin where a Divine Healing would be applied. It left a mark. The symbol is the rainbow, a full spectrum display of Beauty like lightning between the Above and Below. We will not forget the Creator’s Empowerment of Divine Love. This Time, the One shares the Creator’s Experience of the Highest Powers of Love within.
The Aztec sign is Melinalli (Grass). Human’s Seed is imperishable and perennial. We can send roots deep into Mother Earth for the nourishment we need. Grass can be trampled upon, down-trodden, and appear lifeless in the Winter. Yet, it will always rise again to grow and expand. “This day signifies tenacity, rejuvenation, that which cannot be uprooted forever. Malinalli is a day for persevering against all odds and for creating alliances that will survive the test of time. It is a good day for those who are suppressed, a bad day for their suppressors.” Aztec Calendar
To all my relations, may we follow the Golden Rule and the Path of Light we are given as the Conscioiusness of the Wise thing to do. We don’t have to do anything but wait, when we don’t know what to do. And, we can ask. The Old Ones are ALWAYS waiting for us to Remember and Call.

5 Road/EB (Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA)
Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.
Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer. Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.
