Light from Above and Below
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 02/20/2026
THESE ARE NOT AURORAS: Montana is a good place to see auroras, so on Feb 17th when Jane Horton of Helena MT saw towering lights in the night sky, she naturally wondered. “Are these auroras?” Not exactly:
These are light pillars caused by city lights shining into freezing air. Ice crystals catch the rays of urban bulbs and spread them into luminous vertical columns. Light pillars are a common sight in northern cities during winter.
“At the time, the air temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and dropping,” she says.”The pillars were very bright white, and lasted for about an hour.”
Light pillars can resemble auroras, but they have nothing to do with solar flares or CMEs. The only ingredients are ice and light pollution.

MARTIAN SUNSPOTS: Almost no sunspots are facing Earth. However, several big ones are facing Mars. Today’s sun photo from Mars rover Perseverance shows multiple sunspot groups including old friend AR4366, which unleashed six X-flares in early February. These Martian sunspots will turn to face Earth next week.

3 Offering/MULUC represents the Christ Spirit in the trecena of Deer/MANIK – the call to a dedicated daily path of Spirit. We are called to be Pillars of Light through the 40-Days of Lent. God’s light follows from behind.
Deer/MANIK offers Spiritual Tools. The ritual of Lent is a tool for Vigilant Consciousness. Deer/MANIK is the Day sign of the priest who Counts the Days and carries out the walk to an altar on behalf of the whole… a symbol of Divine Protection, a Shepherd, and a Savior. The priest’s staff is a symbol of the Highest Truth upon which we can stand, the promise of a Divine Provision for every Human limitation.
We can move forward without fear. The Year of the Fire Horse is an acceleration of Faith and Courage. Tone 3 is our first step forward by the Intention we set at the beginning, that will run with perseverance to the end.
Signs are God’s Spiritual Tools that herald the Light in the future. We are running into a Storm. We Ascend on 13 Storm/CAUAC, to be grasped by the Light of God Hand, who never lets us go.
Our Journey begins in Humility, convicted of the sins of the whole. We’ve all fallen short, going along with the world until we lost our direction. Almsgiving is one of the “3 Pillars of the Lenten tradition, along with Fasting and Prayer.
Spiritual Tools
The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a Spiritual Tool offered by Saint Faustina. Her opening prayer is a petition for Mercy for our sins and the sins of the whole world. Instructions for praying the chaplet are found on TheDivineMercy.org.
We create our own Spiritual Tools from the Word, repeating a favorite verse or the Lord’s Prayer as an offering of meditation through the Season of Lent. With each repetition of the Lord’s Prayer, something new is brought to Light.
St. Faustina’s Prayer for Sinners
“O Jesus, eternal Truth, our Life, I call upon You and I beg Your mercy for poor sinners. O sweetest Heart of my Lord, full of pity and unfathomable mercy, I plead with You for poor sinners. O Most Sacred Heart, Fount of Mercy from which gush forth rays of inconceivable graces upon the entire human race, I beg of You light for poor sinners. O Jesus, be mindful of Your own bitter Passion and do not permit the loss of souls redeemed at so dear a price of Your most precious Blood. O Jesus, when I consider the great price of Your Blood, I rejoice at its immensity, for one drop alone would have been enough for the salvation of all sinners. Although sin is an abyss of wickedness and ingratitude, the price paid for us can never be equalled. Therefore, let every soul trust in the Passion of the Lord, and place its hope in His mercy. God will not deny His mercy to anyone. Heaven and earth may change, but God’s mercy will never be exhausted. Oh, what immense joy burns in my heart when I contemplate Your incomprehensible goodness, O Jesus! I desire to bring all sinners to Your feet that they may glorify Your mercy throughout endless ages” (Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, 72).
Between the prayers at the beginning there are 5 “decades” of prayers recited on the 10 small beads between. “For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.
A GOOD DAY TO: Offer appreciation for all of creation.
Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA: The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven. The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon. Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand. People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything. These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces. The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace. The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues. When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level. As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
