Shadow is beginning a New Life with Kadee. He went through several months of grieving, and finally acceptance that Jackie is gone. Kadee, a young female eagle, has been trying to earn his affection, while being respectful of the distance and time he needed. After weeks of distancing, Shadow finally allowed her to roost on his branch. He had one major crying day in the nest before taking leave for 48 hours. Kadee is very independent and proven herself to be worthy. Together they are preparing the nest and planning for a future together. They are weathering unexpected storms together.

Good morning JW, Are you ready for the CIB trecena? Looks like just what we have been working and waiting for. I don’t know where I got the idea the next trecena was Kan, oh well. Anyway, Mayan Majix has wonderful articles on 1Cib. Be sure to have a look at Eagle Solomon’s blog..article #4. I love it that the winter ‘take’ includes a full summer visit complete with a summer solstice. Makes me feel right at home. So, I’m progressing out of CIB, carefully and mindfully, into the WORLD and class today. But, it’s still night with the possibility of more sleep, meanwhile I’ve fed the dogs a nourishing midnight meat snack, myself a bowl of rice cereal with maple syrup and cinnamon, burning some good resinous incense AND a perfumed oil candle to anchor and celebrate the purification and lifting of my karma!
