MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
“Allow yourself small victories. Don’t deny giving yourself credit for accomplishing something, no matter how insignificant it might seem at the time.” Unknown
13 Monkey/CHUEN facilitates a major ascension. The energy of Monkey/Chuen has a mystical quality that increases the potential to experience the supernatural. Tone 13 brings the energy of ascension and we are elevated to the next higher version of ourselves.
This is a day to acknowledge and celebrate our progress. Our smallest effort has significant influence over time. Under the guidance of Monkey/CHUEN we can become the Dreamers who believe in the Dream.
TRECENA OF STORM/CAUAC
Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
Road to Revival: Ascension
Today we are completing our Road to Revival through the trecena of Storm/CAUAC. The trecena has revealed the ways we hold the power to raise our own Spirits. Celebrating our success, no matter how small, is one of the greatest tools for revival we can employ.
We see ourselves differently when we acknowledge our accomplishments. We can take cues from the ascension energy all around us at this time of year. In the USA, an estimated 3.3 million high schools students are preparing for commencement ceremonies, and as many more college students are expected to be awarded with a new degree. Spring starts are ascending into full grown versions of themselves and farmers are celebrating the evidence of a future harvest.
Our ongoing ascension is a matter of paying attention to small changes that have significant influence over time. As we prepare to enter the trecena of our destiny (Road/EB) this may be the most important Truth we can bring.
To all my relations, may we see that every intention God gives us leads us to Love. Celebrating Ascension is a Gift of Self Love we can share with one another. As we see ourselves in a new light may we dare to believe in our dreams.
Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Bix-U-Bell… How is your Spiritual path today?
My Recap on Cauac: This trecena has had its ups and downs. It hasn’t been as intense as CIMI, but Dog/OC came just in time to relieve a couple of uncomfortable days (11 and 12) for no apparent reason. And time feels like it’s flying by at warp speed.
I love to hear from you. Share your thoughts on the day, your Day Sign, or just say Hi!
