9 Night / AKBAL – 3, 6, 9 in the Bible

The Dream -Pierre Cécile Puvis de Chavannes

What are the hours of prayer in the Bible?, I searched Google.

The typical schedule for the Divine Hours follows a three-hour pattern, with prayers at 6:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., noon, 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. In addition, there are evening prayers and morning prayers outside of these times. (Days in the Bible didn’t begin  at 12:00AM. 6:00 was the Beginning/End of the Day.)

Searching WHAT to pray…

Morning Prayers: (Supplication/Gratitude)
King David set the example in Psalm 5:3, “In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.”

Noon Prayers: (Pulling down strongholds/Gratitude)
Why is it important to pray at noon?, I asked Google.
He reminds us that it was the “sixth” hour (noon=12 pm) marking that time when Jesus was suffering on the Cross. Matthew, Mark and Luke all center on noon as a critical time regarding the crucifixion. (Note: the Mayan calendars count 12 hours from 5 to 5. The Hebrew calendar counts 12 hours from 6 to 6.)

Jeremiah 6:4
“Prepare war against her;
Arise, and let us attack at noon.
Woe to us, for the day declines,
For the shadows of the evening lengthen!

Jeremiah 20:16
But let that man be like the cities
Which the Lord overthrew without relenting,
And let him hear an outcry in the morning
And a shout of alarm at noon;
(Prayers for the calling down of strongholds.)

Evening  Prayers: (Worship)

The Sabbath is a weekly day of rest or time of worship given in the Bible as the seventh day.
It begins just before Sunset (ie. about 6:00 PM)

Leviticus 23:32 (The number symbolizes Reflection Above/Below)
On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.

PRAYERS THROUGH THE NIGHT: Important Matters

Luke 6:12-17 At about that same time he climbed a mountain
At about that same time he climbed a mountain to pray. He was there all night in prayer before God. The next day he summoned his disciples.

When something is very important, Luke guided us to pray all night.

I give thanks for the Light revealed in the NIGHT. (3:28AM CT)

9 Night/AKBAL (Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA)

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void. a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity.

Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night. Belief is so strong that the surrounding elements become entrained to their rhythm and all resistance falls away. With respect and honor of intuition combined with knowledge this energy creates the magic of the center in this dimension. AKBAL-Night-Totem-OWL: Guardian of the Night Sun. Energies for the opening of mystic secrets, seeing through the masks of deception, trickery. High ability of discernment. Portals open to other worlds and dimensions for your learning and spiritual growth. Magical abilities are possible.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
