Auroras, Taken by Friedrich Deters on August 12, 2024 @ Spring Lake Park
Auroras Should Not Be Orange (But They Are).
On August 18th Spaceweather.com reported on the anomaly of Orange Auroras. They have since received this striking display from Minnesota. When I see auroras like this, I can’t help but imagine when they were seen by our ancestors, before the wisdom of astronomy.
I resisted sharing yesterday’s news and imagine of a Spiral phenomenon, because it was a Space-X fuel dump in our atmosphere. Every generation deserves the Truth to know how to discern a Real Thing from an assault on our environment. (It felt like Space-X was upstaging a Divine Offering. I guess that’s why we have biased news, deciding what we allow others to know. I’m sorry.)
We ARE experiencing the event of Orange Auroras as first-timers, like our ancestors. We’re trying to figure out what happened. The Divine Creator upstaged the Space-X fuel dump.
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: AUG 20, 2024 (08/20/2024)
AURORAS SHOULD NOT BE ORANGE (BUT THEY ARE): During last week’s severe (G4-class) geomagnetic storm, Tony Bendele of Pennsylvania saw something rare and a little mysterious. “Orange auroras!” he says. “Yes, Orange. I had never seen this color in auroras before.” Note the boxed hue in Bendele’s Aug 12th photo:

“At first, I thought something was wrong, so I checked this image numerous times. The color orange is really there,” he says.
What’s so mysterious? There’s no element in Earth’s atmosphere capable of making bright orange. It’s simple chemistry. Every aurora color has a matching atom or molecule. For instance, oxygen atoms produce red and green. Nitrogen molecules give us purple and, sometimes, pink. Theoretically, N2, N2+, and O2+ can produce emissions at orange wavelengths. However, these emissions are very weak compared to other colors produced by the same molecules. Auroras should not be orange.
Yet Friedrich Deters photo just North of Minneapolis, Minnesota was Orange all over the sky
Orange was all over the sky–a phenomenon observed not only by Deters in Minnesota and Bendele by Pennsylvania, but also by many others across North America and Europe.
Aurora physicist Kjellmar Oksavik of the University of Bergen in Norway has given the phenomenon a lot of thought, and he believes he has the answer: “It’s not a mystery molecule. It’s a mixing of different colors.”
During typical geomagnetic storms, red auroras and green auroras are well separated; red on top, green on the bottom. However, when geomagnetic storms become intense, as happened on Aug. 12th, red and green can overlap in a zone 150 km to 200 km high. “The mixture fools the camera and the eye to believe that it is orange. In reality, it is both red and green at the same time,” he says.
Mystery solved? Probably. It should be easy to check as Solar Cycle 25 intensifies.
LUNAR OCCULTATION OF SATURN: The full Moon is about to swallow Saturn. On Aug. 21st, observers from South America to Europe (animated map) can watch a lunar occultation of the ringed planet. Saturn will dip in and out of the mountainous lunar limb before disappearing for ~45 minutes. Here’s what it will look like. This rare event is a great photo-op for amateur astronomers with backyard telescopes. [more]
StarWalk Planetary News: Full Moon on August 19, 2024, Is Supermoon, Blue Moon and Sturgeon Moon
The Moon will reach its full phase on Monday, August 19, at 18:26 GMT (2:26 p.m. EDT). But don’t worry if you miss this exact moment — the Moon will appear full on Sunday and Tuesday nights as well.
The August Full Moon will rise above the eastern horizon at sunset and set in the west shortly before dawn. On any night from August 18 to 20, take the opportunity to look up for a round lunar disk. It will look bigger and brighter than usual because this will be a Supermoon (the 1st of 4 Supermoons in a row)!
Lunar Occultation of Saturn on August 21
Beginning Tuesday, August 20, look for a bright dot near the Moon; this will be Saturn (mag 0.6). On August 21, the lunar disk will pass in front of the planet, obscuring it for observers in Latin America, Africa, and Europe.

Visibility of the lunar occultation of Saturn on August 21. See the Sky Tonight app’s calendar for details.
China’s Moon Festival the Month of the “Hungry Ghosts”
Taoists and Buddhists observe the Month of the “Hungry Ghosts” similar to the traditions of the “Day of the Dead.” Pretas, or “hungry ghosts,” are beings who are tormented by desire that can never be sated. They offer entire meals to a table with an empty chair for every ancestor on the other side. At celebration performances, the chairs in the front row are left empty.

Mayan Time…
13 Sun/AHAU is the Ascension of the Tzolk’in round, a death and life resurrected by a New Seed of our Self. 13 Sun/AHAU marks a Revelation of who we are and the Answer to our Prayer. The power of the symbol is magnified by repetition in the 13th uinal, Haab year 13 Earth/CABAN, and the Time of the 13th baktun (13 x 144,000 days per baktun). 13 baktuns represent a human era of 5,125.366 years. Sun/AHAU also guides the Intention of honoring the ancestors.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Sun/Ahau: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgement who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
A GOOD DAY TO: Ask for the wisdom and continued honored memory of our Ancestors.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
