POSSIBLE EARTH-DIRECTED EXPLOSION: Surprising forecasters, who thought sunspot AR3834 was too stable to explode, sunspot AR3834 exploded on Sept. 22nd (2139 UTC). The M3.4-class flare hurled a massive plume of plasma into space.
Debris from the blast entrained even more plasma on its way out of the sun’s atmosphere, forming a partial halo CME. The bulk of the CME will miss Earth, but its flank will deliver a glancing blow to our planet on Sept. 25th, according to a NASA model.
At this time of year, even a glancing blow from a CME can cause a geomagnetic storm. Why? Because during weeks around equinoxes, Earth’s magnetic field is unusually well connected to the sun’s. It’s called the “Russell-McPherron effect.” The incoming CME could therefore cause a G1- to G2-class geomagnetic storm when it reaches Earth.
APPROACHING COMET SEEN FROM THE ISS: Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS (C/2023 A3) is approaching Earth and brightening rapidly. “So far Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS looks like a fuzzy star to the naked eye, but with a 200mm, f2 lens at 1/8s exposure you can really start to see it!’ reports NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick, who photographed the comet from the International Space Station on Sept. 19th: (Visit Spaceweather.com for the Video.)
Dominick’s time lapse movie shows the comet rising above Earth’s airglow layer along with at least 3 satellites. “This comet is going to make for some really cool images as it gets closer to the sun,” he says.
Indeed, the comet will fly by the sun on Sept. 27th, receiving a dose of solar heating as it approaches Earth for a close encounter on Oct. 12th. As seen from our planet, the sun-warmed comet’s brightness could reach negative magnitudes during the second week of October.
“Negative magnitude” means Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS would be visible in broad daylight, especially on Oct. 9th when light from the nearby sun will be forward scattered by comet dust, amplifying the comet’s brightness. If the most optimistic predictions come true, it could look like Comet McNaught in 2007:

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.
Jaguar/IX: Born with a deep love of the Mother Earth, Jaguar or shaman is directly tied to the source of all Earth magic. They possess great power of intellect and strength or character through integrity. Jaguar energy is feminine in nature and is the ruling spirit of jungles, plains, and mountains. The spirit of Jaguar inhabits the Mayan temples and is called on to assist in spiritual as well as in material ways. Jaguar is also the god/goddess of gratefulness. Patience born of strength and skill can turn to pounce of quick decision and action. Both bold and stealthful, Jaguars do not often attack directly and communications from them usually contain some mystery. In the absence of integrity, Jaguars power corrupts becoming a search for wealth and fame.
A GOOD DAY TO: Commune and give thanks to Mother Earth.
Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI: Panther is symbolized by comets, meteors, shooting stars, fireballs, and magicians. Meteors appearing around the middle of November are Heralds of the Coming of the Light, the Cherokee New Year. Panther is the Shadow of the Sphinx, Herald of the Dawn, guardian of the night when the sun is traveling through the underworld. Panthers have unlimited imaginations, visualizations, and are spellbinding speakers. The Cherokee Totem Jaguar is the guardian of the portals to other dimensions; shamanic abilities will open; multi-dimensional magic; healer, leader, way shower energy when used for spiritual growth. Abuse would be for using this power for control or negative purposes; must find a powerful balance. Ix: The Kab’awil represents the heart of the planet, the female reproductive tract, the face of a jaguar and points east on the world map. Ix: woman, tiger. Conducive to pray for grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters and wives day. For wisdom at 4 Balances, cunning and protection of Mother Nature. To thank the Earth for sustenance. Ix is the native cunning, enterprising, vigorous, bold and realistic.
