1 Deer/MANIK

Greetings Beloved Kin,

All things Created have a Reason to be. The 1st half of the 1st Season is devoted to knowing who we are and everything we can do. 1 Deer/MANIK begins the journey to Knowing a Divine Meaning and Purpose for our Life. The Scion was created to be God’s Hand, intended to be an offering of the Creator’s Light manifested in a realm of physicality.

The Truth is self evident in every other living creation in the Natural World. All things are conscious of their Life and all things respond to Love. Life is an endless sacrifice of one Life for another from the bottom to the top of the food chain. All things fight for their life to carry on. Love carries on beyond death, when all things are Seen and Acknowledged for the sacrifice. When we bless our food, we share Offer a Sacred meaning to a Living Sacrifice. We magnify the Blessing to our own body, when we Honor the Energy of Life as a Sacred Exchange.

MANIK is the Destiny of the Mayan priest. That was the meaning and purpose of the Life of the Savior. We were given the Sacred Right to Choose the Destiny that requires a personal sacrifice. Jesus Christ made no other name for himself in the world, except for his Mission as a Healer, Protector, and the Master Teacher of Love.

Deer/MANIK calls us into the Service of Love and the dedicated Road-Less-Traveled, but for those who Love the Lord with all their heart,  mind, body, and soul. Truth of the Creator’s Unconditional Love shared in return, is the Power that leads us to the straight and narrow path. Love has to be a choice for it to be the Truth. Selah.

We can choose to offer the Service of Love to one another and to the Natural World. Love is the Offering that always multiplies to abundance.

Algiz Rune – An ancient symbol of the Tree of Life. The image appears as two arms reaching Above. The “unseen” elements are the angles of Light that point to the Heart. Unknown blessings from Above are the Creator’s Sacred Exchange. The Deer’s antlers symbolize the Divine Antennae that tunes us in to the Highest Vibration of the Creator’s Love.

The totem Deer demonstrates the Love of a Protector and Leader who guides others to Holy Ground through the Intentions of Vigilance and dedication to the purpose. The Deer’s eye is designed for landscape vision to keep watch all around. The Deer’s ears function independently to hear sound in all directions, enabling it to know the exact location of the source. The Deer’s defense is standing still in silence, prepared to leap to higher ground at the first sign of movement.

MANIK shares the power of Harmonic Resonance. When the leader of the herd moves, those in lower states of consciousness are drawn to follow. When the Mayan priest offers prayers on behalf of the whole, an opportunity for Divine Trinity is the offering. When someone prays for our Highest Good, we are inclined to listen and join in the Amen. It’s easier to believe someone else believes, when our own Faith is faltering.

HOLY OBSERVANCE: GLOBAL BURNER DAY
The 1st Global Burner of the Tzolk’in round is 4 Dog/OC, the living demonstration of the Creator’s Unconditional Love. Global Burner Days mark the Center of each Season of the Tzolk’in, always  on the 4th Tone of Stability. The Mayan priest carries out the Sacred Fire Ceremony to draw the whole back together in Right Relationship. There are no rules to attend. When the smoke of the prayers rises and the smell of copal  fills the Air, everyone knows someone is praying for them. Lower vibrations are drawn into sympathy with the Pure Vibration of Love without conditions. Global Burner Days offer a release of residual energy. We can expect some stress leading up to a Burner Day. 4 Dog/OC falls on September 19, 2024, the Day following the Harvest Moon and Lunar Eclipse.

Deer/MANIK is also a symbol of Stability with 4 legs to plant in each  of the 4 directions. The Deer’s way to stand in Integrity is without Defense of the Truth that will speak for itself when it’s the Creator’s Divine Time for us to know. God is the Source of all Truth that holds the Power of the Word. When Human defends the Truth, we take away from Truth that’s Common Sense. In silence we uphold the Sacred Right for others to Choose to Know.

MANIK holds the Element of Water, used by the Mayan priest for purification, blessings, initiations, and Holy Baptism. Our Mission will be consecrated by the Highest One through a whole investment of our Heart.

GUARDIAN OF THE TRECENA
The End intended from the Beginning is 13 Storm/CAUAC. Those who reach in Service for the Highest Cause will be grasped by a Power of Lighting and drawn to the Heart of Sky. 13 Storm/CAUAC is our Ascension and the Answer to all the Prayers we carry on for the whole. We can’t make others believe the Truth, but we can stand in Faith for the answers to our own prayers. Storm/CAUAC shares the Living Water for a path that is consecrated and blessed. The Sacred Exchange is the offering of “lightning in the blood” that bestirs our Heart to Speak.

One of the gifts offered by Deer/MANIK is the Power to take an arrow to the heart that passes right through. We may feel the pain of slings and arrows, but there will be no suffering when our Highest Intention is the Creator’s Highest Meaning and Purpose for Life and Love that Springs Eternal from the Savior we were intended to be.

A TRECENA OF LIGHT
Blue and Red Day Signs represent cycles of Light, as the colors of Human’s Living Water. Cycles of Light are Times ordered for Divine Inspiration. On Tone 1 we receive the 1st Light of Divine Inspiration for the way we will follow. Though we all follow the same path, we each have our own way to bring Light to the world. Through the next 13 Days, the Creator can reveal our own special talents that can be turned to the Divine Purpose.

Human powers are expanded with every Seed for a New Life. We claimed the Power of the Holy Spirit and the Choice to be guided by our Higher Self. Forgetting who we are and what the Creator can do is our Common limitation. Our fundamental Mission is to be a demonstration of Love, so others will Remember the Choice that leads to Miracles.

Every Day is Time to Count our Blessings. To walk in Integrity requires a dedicated path that leads to an altar within every Day. That’s the only way to Remember.

Deer/MANIK holds the Spiritual Tools to stay on course. Our Spiritual Tools of Spirit are the Creator’s Words of Truth. The Deer’s “staff” is the One Promise that covers everything, a Divine Provision for every Human limitation. It’s Time for a Choice to take up our staff and follow the Light that is shared for every step we take.

Every trecena begins from the state of Inertia. The most productive thing to do on Tones 1 and 2 is to stand on our Truth in Silence, and Open our Eyes to See and our Ears to hear the Creator’s Divine Orders from Above. We will be moved by symbol of the Christ Spirit on 3 Offering/MULUC to Give Back and Pay Forward the Love first offered from the Heart of Sky. The glyph illustrates the Hand (another name for MANIK) grasping the thread of Plasma that completes a circuit to Divine Powers Above.

Isaiah 6: 8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Isaiah 54:17No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

1 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)  – Day 1 of 13 of the 1 Deer/MANIK trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in FREE CALCULATOR on MayanMajix.com
The Galactic Week of your Mayan birthday reflects the Mission conceived for your Life. Your Mayan birthday is the Role you play in the Creation.

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to others.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
