SPACEWEATHER: Light Turning to Earth and Arctic Auroras Possible on Christmas Eve

Light Around the Corner

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 12/22/2024

BIG SUNSPOTS TURN TOWARD EARTH: After weeks of relatively low sunspot number, the sun is reminding us that Solar Max is far from over. Three large sunspot groups are turning toward Earth:

This Dec. 22nd picture, taken by Juergen Banisch of Gaukoenigshofen, Germany, shows more than two dozen dark cores turning toward Earth. The complex sprawls across more than 450,000 km of the sun’s surface, making it an easy target for backyard solar telescopes and even simple solar projectors.

But will they flare? Big sunspots usually do. So far, however, these sunspots have produced nothing more potent than low-level M1-class events. It could be the calm before the storm.

ARCTIC CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: A minor CME left the sun on Dec. 21st. Forecast models (above) show it could strike Earth on Christmas Eve. The CME is not potent enough to spark a full-fledged geomagnetic storm, but it could fill the Arctic Circle with auroras on Dec. 25th.

Mayan Time

Tomorrow is 8 Serpent/CHICCHAN a Holy Day celebrating the Light of  Consciousness and an Offering from the Source of Divine Illumination.  The Serpent is a symbol of Enlightenment to “See Clearly.” Today is 7 Seed/KAN, the symbol of the Divine Design and the Light shared within.

THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: TRUTH THAT SETS US FREE

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.

Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.

The Flint/ETZNAB trecena is part of Season 2, found in Volume 1.

NOTE: If you see repeating numbers, SacredScribes is a resource to check the meaning of Angel Numbers.

7 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA) – Day 7 of 13 in the 1 Flint/ETZNAB cycle of Truth from Above

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

A GOOD DAY TO: Plant, make new contacts and re-connect with others.

Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”.  In China ley lines are called “dragon lines”; orgone energy, pyramid power, or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.

  1. Not sure if it could be related, Debra (probably not), but there was an earthquake in this region (the Cape Province of South Africa) on Sunday morning (22nd of December) at around 3am (it measured 5.3 on the Richter Scale). No major damages recorded by many people felt it across the area. Where was a second one 200 km’s off the coast that was measured at 4.96. Major earthquakes are a relatively rare phenomenon here, so it’s caused a lot of speculation. I was fast asleep, so only heard about it the next day. I’ve been a bit out of the loop with energy events as I’ve had quite a hectic year out on the island, but now back on home soil and aiming to get back into my old routines of being more tuned in – such are the cycles of life … drifting away from the center and returning to it again.

    • Interesting – I watch the earthquake maps and don’t recall seeing much activity in So Africa. It may take some time to hear what happens to the Parker Probe – hope we don’t have to wait too long. We’re at the low ebb between the spring tides of the Full Moon and next New Moon – that’s what I’m blaming for the drifting tides here. 🙂 I’ll keep a more watchful eye on USGS Earthquake Maps.

      • It was even in our printed newspapers, although perhaps due to the rarity of them around here it got more press than it normally would elsewhere, but the newspaper reported that both were picked up by USGS-EM’s. You can look for: “Loeriesfontein”, a village in the Northern Cape – it happened about 57 km’s north from there.

Thanks for the update on Parker Probe. I don’t usually follow these things, but I’m planning the attend some of the local Astronomy Club’s events here in Cape Town next year and might start getting into it … (will become more informed about what’s going on too).

      • I looked and there were quite a few 4.5+ quakes below the equator – and a cluster in the Philippines. The Sun in its closest position to Earth increases geomagnetic forces of attraction, stronger than gravity. It was interesting to learn that the Sun is closest to us during the darkest days of the year. Thanks for the earthquake news.
