SPACEWEATHER: Polar Stratospheric Clouds, Spotless Sun Alert Cancelled

Sunspots Emerging as the Stratosphere is Cold as Ice

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 01/28/2025

POLAR STRATOSPHERIC CLOUDS: Something interesting is happening in the polar stratosphere. A 40-year cold spell is underway, and the temperature contimues to drop. We know its cold because the stratosphere is starting to fill with colorful clouds, like these photographed yesterday by Liselotte Kahns of Nr. Lyngby, Vendsyssel, Denmark:

These Type II polar stratospheric clouds appeared shortly just before sunset here in Denmark on Jan. 27th,” says Kahns. “They are just so incredibly spectacular. I feel privileged :-)”

Polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) are rare. Normally, the stratosphere has no clouds at all. When the temperature drops to -85 C (188 K), however, water molecules can get together to form ice crystals even in the very dry stratosphere. High-altitude sunlight touching those crystals creates a blossom of pastel color.

According to NASA’s MERRA2 climate model, temperatures in the polar stratosphere are about to drop to their lowest levels since before 1978. This could cause a major outbreak of polar stratospheric clouds, visible around the Arctic Circle and beyond. If you see a PSC, please take a picture and submit your images here.

SPOTLESS ALERT CANCELED: Briefly on Jan. 27th, the sun flirted with spotlessness, a blank solar disk that hasn’t been seen in more than 3 years. Spotless alert canceled. A big new sunspot group is emerging over the sun’s northeastern limb. Astronomers with solar telescopes should point their optics here

Mayan Time

6 Wind/IK represents the Power of the Creator’s Word. Tone 6 offers the peak energy of Momentum to everything we do. 6 is the symbol of 3 x 2. Wind/IK directs our eyes to see and magnifies the Sound of the Creator’s Truth. Every Good thing is given by God. Wind/IK is the Truth and Beauty spoken by the Heart of Sky.

TRECENA OF EARTH/CABAN: THE CLARION CALL TO LIVE WITH ALL OUR HEART

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide Page for the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” My gift for the Tzolk’in round offers an overview for each 13-day trecena and the aspects of each day of the Tzolk’in round. The page also offers a link to resources for your own practice of counting the days to conceive your own discernment of the Meaning of Time.

NEW SEASON – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)

NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. What is the Destiny Kin number of your day sign’s 3rd tone? You may have overlooked a life-changing day. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days calculate the Mayan date for major days in your life.  You can also look for Signs in the duration of Time from one Day to another.  Example – 33 is a symbol of actualization and the number of the Divine Master Teacher. Using the Time and Date calculator, 33 days from yesterday (3 Storm/CAUAC, the day we are claimed from Above) is February 28, 2025. That Mayan date is 10 Road/EB, the Day of Manifestation and Truth of the Creator’s plan for our Divine Road to Destiny. (33 days from today, 4 Sun/AHAU, is 11 Reed/BEN, representing a Divine Communion at an altar to the Highest One, the Guiding Light of Home and Family.) Whatever we look to find, we’ll see.

6 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA) –  Day 6 of 13 in the 1 Earth/CABAN trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

A GOOD DAY TO: Send Communications of all kinds.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
