Waiting on its Time and Purpose?

THIS SUNSPOT IS A SENIOR CITIZEN: Contact the AARP. Sunspot 4100 wants to join. While most sunspots last no longer than a week, sunspot 4100 is still going strong after two months. “This is its third run across the sun,” says German astronomer Harald Paleske, who photographed the active region on May 27th:

“I observed this sunspot for the first time on April 5, 2025,” says Paleske. “It rapidly developed, eventually growing into the largest sunspot of 2025.”

Since then, NOAA has renumbered the sunspot three times (4055, 4079, and 4100), once for each transit across the solar disk. So far the sunspot has existed for 54 days.

How long can a sunspot live? A sunspot in the 19th century was once rumored to last for 18 months. That myth was debunked in a 1951 study conducted by Mount Wilson solar astronomer Edwin Pettit. In historical records, the longest-lived sunspots he could find were 121 days (1840-41) and 134 days (1919).

To match those records, today’s sunspot 4100 would need to survive for 2 or 3 more months. It might. The sunspot is remarkably stable. It changed very little during its previous transit, and didn’t produce a single significant solar flare.

“I’m curious to see how long the sunspot will be with us,” says Paleske. Stay tuned!

MINOR GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH: NOAA forecasters say there is a chance of minor G1-class geomagnetic storms today, May 28th, as Earth enters a stream of high-speed solar wind. If such a storm does occur, the phase of the Moon (almost New) favors photography of faint auroras at high latitudes.

Mayan Time and Synchronicity

8 Crocodile/IMIX is the Dawn of a New Awakening. We are in the flow of Divine Inspiration. It’s a mentally active day of downloads and “wild ideas” that comes with the intention to pray for good sense and reason. The point is to recognize a channel that’s opened to Spirit. This is not a day to act on impulse, but to claim God’s power to reach us. God will move us when it’s Time.

Sunspot 4100 may be waiting for its Time and Purpose as it makes it’s 3rd pass across the face of the Sun. Or, maybe 3 times is a charm. We may feel like we’re waiting, waiting, waiting for a breakthrough just beyond the horizon. God’s Divine Purpose is always right on time. It takes Time and an Order of events for the Truth to be brought to light. The next light that breaks could be the Truth that draws all the pieces and parts together.

Tone 8 is the Holy Day of the 13-day cycle as the Hour of the Zenithal Sun. The Intention is Divine Justice. God’s Time will come to share the Light of a Dream that’s intended to come true. We only have to Wait on the Lord.

FLEDGE UPDATE: THE EAGLETS AT BIG BEAR LAKE
The Eaglets are waiting for the perfect time to fledge. They are branching out in the meantime, and making the most of one another’s company on what is likely their last days together. The New Moon is in Gemini, the Twins. Sonny and Gizmo express their brotherly love for one another. Maybe Sonny is waiting on little brother Gizmo to catch up on his training exercises so they can take flight together. Gizmo is 4 days younger. Friends of Big Bear Valley have confirmed that Sonny was the 1st egg and Gizmo the 3rd. Their #2 brother didn’t make it through a snowstorm in the first weeks after hatching. Now they are both venturing out of the next to Mom’s perch on the front porch. I’m glad they are still sleeping in the nest. Looks dangerous out on a limb.

Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.
