A Time for Planting, Pruning, and All Things

Find out when to start a diet to lose weight, cut hair to increase growth, plant vegetables, quit smoking, lose weight, wean, mow grass to slow growth, and more activities, based on the Moon’s sign. The 2025 Best Days Calendar dates are based on several factors, including the position of the Moon in the 12 signs of the Zodiac, as well as the lunar phase. Planetary relationships may also be considered. When positions and/or phases are suitable, tradition says that activities are more likely to yield favorable results.

The “Old Farmer’s Almanac” has long-been a resource for farmers to know the perfect times to manifest a desired end. The Time Before a Full Moon, tides are rising. Times after, tides are diminishing. There is a pattern. Intentions to “increase” are supported by the energy of the rising tides. Intentions to “decrease” are supported by diminishing tides.

August 2025 Moon Phases: (MoonGiant.com)

MoonGiant.com offers a calculator to see the Moon Phase when you were born. You could also use it to find out the Moon cycle of other important dates in Time.

There’s an order to the Best Times for everything, based on Times of increase and diminishing returns. Tides are increasing before the Full Moon, and again, after the Last Quarter Moon to the New Moon.

Getting Married and Having Dental Care both share times after a completed cycle of the Moon. (Maybe its best to “wait and see” if an “ache” is a temporary thing, before making a major investment in Dental care.)

I’ve been investing in eating healthier to lose weight. On August 3, I did everything BUT eat healthy. I’ll renew my intention, after the Full Moon, and will be cautious, given the heads-up for greater consequences during a time of increase. I won’t get on the scale today. I’ll “wait and see” just at the Last Quarter.

We wait until the last minute to make our Intentions. Every cycle of increase deserves some Time Before, to think about it, so we’ll be prepared for the Time of Increase in advance.

To manifest the change we’re hoping to bring to harvest, now is the Time – in advance – to listen to the Voice of Spirit that shares the Truth that Resolves the Way and moves us to change.

I wish I’d looked at this yesterday, but learning the hard way is the Sign I won’t forget next time.

I give thanks for God’s Mysterious Ways of moving us, and that the Truth is written in plain sight, when we ask, seek, and keep looking to see that God speaks to us in through the Light and all the Signs Above.

Two Times have their own special meaning and purpose every Day. In the morning, we rise with the Sun. At sunset we let our worries go down with the setting Sun. (That’s what the Elders said to do.) Before we do, it’s also Time to see the Big Picture with a daily inventory of what we did today, and how we could do better, tomorrow (Tone 9). That “finishes” the Creation of the Day, before we Ascend to our Dreams to receive the Light beyond the veil that restores our Faith before the Sun rises again.

Star/LAMAT is a good Day for wishing on stars and holding Faith all Day Long by focusing on the Highest Object of our Affection, a God of Light. August 8 marks the brightest Light of the Year. We are preparing in advance to receive it. The trecena of Storm/CAUAC is a cycle when we are grasped by the Light and we Know God claims us as his own.

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.

Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
