7 Monkey/CHUEN – Spiritual Quickening

7 Monkey/CHUEN

7 Monkey/CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

The Serpent/CHICCHAN is among the most intensive 13-day cycles on the Tzolk’in.  At Tone 7 we have figuratively reached the top of the pyramid of this cycle of energy. Portal energies, described as “thinning of the veil,” offer us deeper spiritual perspective.

Tone 7 calls us to reflect on our own values and purpose. Heightened senses of perception may forever change the way we see something that is brought to our attention. We may come to a new understanding of what is illusion and what is real.

Monkey/CHUEN is the weaver of time that creates the tapestry of our lives. What we learn may come through our sense of humor, or revealed as a result of an innocent curiosity.

This is the 6th of 10 Green Kins in progression that introduces a portal to Spirit and a potential shift in perception.

7 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

Trecena Kin, Tzolk'in Galactic Butterfly

Today is Kin 111.
Tzolk’in Chart illustrates Kin 106 thru Kin 115 as “Galactic Activation Portal” days. This energy magnifies what you focus on and opens a channel to Spirit. You may have more intense feelings. You or people around you may exhibit more sensitive behavior. You may experience an intuition or knowing or shift in perception.

Spiritual Quickening: Day 7

The “chaos of creation” is a part of every change. As we reflect on the world from a heavenly perspective, we might realize and remember that all is in Divine Order. The world is also undergoing a change and the chaos we see may not be an accurate reflection of what will be, or what is possible.

We hold the power of God’s Intervention through a surrender of our own Free Will. There is a power there beyond our own understanding.

We’ve been conditioned to believe that God’s Will is the consolation prize, or that it might hold the potential for undesirable consequences. That’s what happens when we aren’t paying attention. When we stop to reflect we might realize this is not our true belief, but an illusion born of fear.

We are asked to look beyond the world’s definition of our worth and meaning. Everything in the world would tell us we are powerless – helpless to change the world. Monkey encourages us to believe in our own magic.

To all my relations, as we are gifted with a new vision, we can rely on God’s Grace to ignite us to fulfill our higher purpose. May we remember our darkest hours lead us to the Light.

    • Hi Daisy – The MayanMajix calculator is the best easiest source that guarantees you get the real Mayan count and not the Dreamspell calculator. http://www.mayanmajix.com/TZOLKIN/index.php If you were born late at night, the following Day Sign is considered. I’m happy to help and can offer my email if you have trouble. I’m preparing to offer in-depth readings, but won’t be ready to take that on until Fall. The Tzolk’in page also offers links to other reliable calculators and calendar resources. I’m excited to learn what you are – you’re such a vibrant personality!!!

  1. Wow this is fascinating! What a lot of research you must do. I checked out my Day Sign and I am a Tone 8 – Justice and my Mayan Sun Sign is Road. The descriptions are very accurate! Thanks for sharing that link. 🙂

      • Really? Because my birthday is in September…how does that translates to tomorrow…oh my goodness that is amazing!!! I love how the Universe works. I look forward to your post!!! 😊

      • Virgo? The Tzolk’in is a 260 day cycle and only lands on the same gregorian date every 52 years. I wonder if you have a strong sense of intuition. It would fit this Kin 8 Road/EB. Happy b’day eve!

    • Thank you Jackie. On my 65th bday (Sept) I made a commitment to journal the calendar – just to find more direction in my life. I’ve been learning about it since 2002, but this is the first 260 round I’ve journaled every day – so it kind of feels like the first time real experience. It goes so much deeper than what I am knowledgeable about. What drew my interest was the synchronicity with my day-to-day experiences… plus, I love exploring ancient mystery! in lak’ech, Debra
