MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The Peak Tone 7 represents the top of the pyramid and the end to a very long climb of Spirit. Number 7 represents the Great Law of Creation, that what is manifested in one realm of Being will be Balanced in all others. This rule of correspondence defines the Balance in the Universe. It means that we can create from ANY realm. “As Above, So Below.”
Jaguar/IX is the most Spiritual of the Day Signs. IX is the Divine Feminine of Compassionate Love and Divine Discernment. The Jaguar holds the Inner Strength of Spiritual Truth, capable to stand its ground.
The Jaguar is a thing of Beauty and Loves the Beauty of Mother Earth. The Jaguar’s Gratitude for Mother Earth is the “Earth Magic” that empowers the shape-shifter that can cross the dimensions of Time and Place.
Mother Earth is the Jaguar’s only constant companion. Jaguar hears the Heartbeat of the Mother. The Jaguar shares its Heightened Senses of Spirit. Tone 7 is associated with the Jaguar who Sees everything Above and Everything Below.
This Balancing Place is an Assessment of the Creation we held in our Imagination. For this Transformation to begin, there has to be some accounting of all things Above and All Below. Tone 7 Balances all the Divine Intentions to manifest Harmony and Equity.
The Jaguar guards all the Holy Sites and Temples in stealth. It lies in the shadows where Human comes in Humility to kneel at the altar. Jaguar illuminates the Darkness that brings us to our Knees in the Presence of Divinity.
We held a Dream to Love One Another without any conditions. The only progress we made was to see how we fail. All we HAVE to bring to the Highest Altar is our Humility. Our Offering of Atonement is to See and Acknowledge the Greatness of the Creator’s Love. In Humility, we would kneel to Receive whatever the Creator Chooses to Give.
The Jaguar can help us see that Mother Earth was the Gift of the Creator for Human to Experience their Spark of Unconditional Love. In our Love for her Beauty there are no expectations. We only want the time to See and Acknowledge it.
The Creator Dreamed of a Relationship for a Sacred Exchange of Love. Mother Earth was created to Love us back. She holds our every source for survival and the knowledge for all the Wisdom we would ever know. Through her we can see Love between living things, so we can believe that all living things Know Love, and Know our Love.
The Magic of Gratitude is the Magic of Believing. Our Gratitude is the evidence of something that we can See and Acknowledge is True. Through our Gratitude of Mother Earth we will feel the Vibration of Pure Spirit and Unconditional Love.
Go outside in the silence of the morning or night and listen for the sounds that belong only to Mother Earth. Listen for the Love that surrounds you that speaks to your heart.
To all my relations, we stand at the threshold of a Divine Consciousness through the Balancing of the Above and the Below. The Jaguar can help us Experience Love as a tangible thing. May we be Grateful that for all our failures we were will still meant to Know Unconditional Love. May offer our Gratitude, Believing in the Miracles a new Generation will Ascend to Create.

7 Jaguar/IX (Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI)
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Jaguar/IX: Born with a deep love of the Mother Earth, Jaguar or shaman is directly tied to the source of all Earth magic. They possess great power of intellect and strength or character through integrity. Jaguar energy is feminine in nature and is the ruling spirit of jungles, plains, and mountains. The spirit of Jaguar inhabits the Mayan temples and is called on to assist in spiritual as well as in material ways. Jaguar is also the god/goddess of gratefulness. Patience born of strength and skill can turn to pounce of quick decision and action. Both bold and stealthful, Jaguars do not often attack directly and communications from them usually contain some mystery. In the absence of integrity, Jaguars power corrupts becoming a search for wealth and fame.
Cherokee, Panther/SAHO’NI: Panther is symbolized by comets, meteors, shooting stars, fireballs, and magicians. Meteors appearing around the middle of November are Heralds of the Coming of the Light, the Cherokee New Year. Panther is the Shadow of the Sphinx, Herald of the Dawn, guardian of the night when the sun is traveling through the underworld. Panthers have unlimited imaginations, visualizations, and are spellbinding speakers. The Totem Jaguar is the guardian of the portals to other dimensions; shamanic abilities will open; multi-dimensional magic; healer, leader, way shower energy when used for spiritual growth. Abuse would be for using this power for control or negative purposes; must find a powerful balance.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
