9 Earth / CABAN – A Divine Atonement: Day 9 of 13

Greetings Kin,

9 Earth / CABAN

Tone 9 is the Peak Tone that Completes a Transformation. Tone 9 offers the Intention of Patience to see the Bigger Picture.

The completion of cycles is all important to the Number 9. Number 8 is the Solar Number. Number 9 (BELEJEB’) is the Moon’s number, the Discernment of a Spiritual Cause and Effect.

Number 9 comes with a warning that there could be great suffering to bear without the application of Patience.

Earth/CABAN is the symbol of Mother Earth as a heavenly body in perpetual motion. CABAN is known as N’oj by the K’iche tradition, representing the Source of all Human Knowledge. The glyph illustrates the 3 faculties of Discernment, the linear thoughts of reason, the unbridled form of the imagination, and the elevating thoughts of Divine Consciousness.

Noj is revered as a Sacred Word, meaning all the capabilities of the Human Mind. Noj is the Force that moves us by Divine Intention to the Choices that forever mark us as Divine.

Our faculties of Divine Wisdom are the effect when we draw equally from all 3 for the discernment of Divine Truth. Transforming to our Higher State of Consciousness requires the Patience to insure we’ve turned to each of our faculties of Discernment. The Whole Truth will be the Cause and Effect when we engage the Divine Trinity of Human Consciousness in Unity with a Higher Intention.

We will know our perfect balance of Movement through these three perspectives. 1) Does a thought or idea engage our human curiosity? 2) Do we Love it? Does it align with our Dreams? and 3) Have we discerned a Divine Meaning and Purpose? Does the beginning of its movement lead to the Divine End we hold dear? With Patience and Awareness our Heart will Know we’ve made a Choice of Wisdom.

The Effect will be Believing the Creator would complete the Intention on our behalf. When we are moved by our emotions to take action, our most basic question can be, “Would a Divine Agency complete this Intention? Or, even engage it? We are the Personification of the Creator, “Light, Only Light, Eternal Light.” Is this something Our Divine Spirit would do?

Hummingbird, by D Malmos

We are called to feed off the golden drop of Honey, the sweetness that takes away the bitterness of life. The Hummingbird is the symbol of the Sun whose source of nourishment is a small drop sweetness. A small drop of Honey can change our whole perception about Life, Light, and Happiness.

The Story of the Hummingbird

One day a devastating fire broke out in a forest – a huge woodlands area was suddenly engulfed by a raging wildfire. Frightened, all the animals fled their homes and ran out of the forest. As they came to the edge of a stream, they turned to watch the fire. They felt discouraged and powerless.

They bemoaned the destruction of their homes. Every one of them thought there was nothing they could do about the fire–except for one little hummingbird.

The littlest of creatures decided it would do something. It swooped into the stream and picked up a few drops of water and went directly into the forest and sprinkled them on the fire. Then it went back to the stream and did it again, and it kept going back, again and again and again.

All the other animals watched in disbelief. Some even tried to discourage the hummingbird with comments like, “Don’t bother,it is too much, you are too little, your wings will burn, your beak is too tiny, it’s only a drop, you can’t put out this fire.”

And as the animals stood around disparaging the little bird’s efforts, the bird noticed how hopeless and forlorn they looked. Then one of the animals shouted out and challenged the hummingbird in a mocking voice, “What do you think you are doing?”

And the hummingbird, without wasting time or losing a beat, looked back and said, “I am doing what I can.”  (Source: A fable told by the Quechan people of present day Ecuador)

Through the Offering of One Drop of Love at a time, we will know that the Movement by Divine Intention at any scale will be Multiplied to Abundance.

CABAN is a symbol of Movement. The Cherokee Heron lives a lifetime of migration, always moving toward a new field of Abundance. The Heron symbolizes the Phoenix that rises above the ashes of its past to Live Again with the Consciousness of a Heart transmuted by a Holy Fire.

The AZTEC Ollin (all in) is a Day known simply as Movement. Ollin is the “day of the purified heart,” a day when we can see what we are becoming, the pure spirit of our “I Am.” This is not a day to stand still, or go along with unconscious thoughts, but a day to Move by Intention with All Our Heart.

We are given the Divine Wisdom to make wise choices. Will we add a drop of honey, or vinegar? Like my Grandma Naomi said, “You catch more flies with honey.”

Earth/CABAN resides in the East, the place where the Sun rises. Holding the Element of Fire, Mother Earth is the Fire Burning in the Heart that changes us from a powerless human being into the Divine Human Being that moves for the Sake of Love.

All the calendars define cycles of movement, transformation and completion. In 260-days, we’ve completed a “human orbit.” The Haab 365-day “vague year” reflects the Earth’s orbit that completes a cycle of planetary experience. Each orbit raises us to a Higher Experience of Consciousness.

Regardless of whether you follow the Mayan calendars, we follow an inherent calendar of meaning and purpose within. We can assume that things that all humans do, are inherent to the design. Who doesn’t arrive at their own birthday, by any calendar, without looking back and forward at our Dreams? We created our own ceremony to make a wish for the future before we blow out the candles.

Tomorrow is the Zenith, offering a new Fire to our Spirit as shared by Miguel Angel, the Mayan priest in the Yucatan. Tomorrow the Moon of our Emotions will be eclipsed by a Divine Source of Light, Life, and Happiness. Tomorrow, a planetary cycle of Divine Intention is completed. The dross is burned away in the Fire of the Creator’s direct Light of Illumination. Today is the Mother Earth’s final turn to a New Light of Divinity, and a New Beginning. The Light waiting at our zenith is 10 Flint/ETZNAB, a manifestation of Divine Truth that was hidden in shadows. Tomorrow the shadow and all its illusions will disappear in the Light of no shadows.

A new Year Bearer from the Yucatan count (10 Flint) will step into the shoes as leader of a new planetary cycle of Intention. K’inich Ahau, whose face illustrated at the center of the Ollin on the Aztec calendar sends a flash of its Light in the moment preceding the New Year’s Light. Some say that each Day Sign moves into position at midnight. This Time K’inich AHAU will herald the Solar Event from 12:00 to 13:00PM in the Yucatan (equal to Central Time). In this hour the shadows of all things will disappear. The Lunar eclipse will follow at 3:30PM (Central Time in the Yucatan).

I’ve wondered about the fierceness of the face of K’inich Ahau. My own Truth of it is drawn from the Haka dance tradition of Maori tribe of New Zealand. “Ha” means birth and “ka” represents Fire… together meaning a Birth of Fire. The Haku dance declares a Birth of Fire and Light. The Sacred Ceremony marks a Divine Intention. The Haku dance is a fiery declaration, “OUR TRUTH WILL BE.” I believe the Fierceness of Truth is inherent. When my firstborn was brought home, my plan for any potential intruders was to face off and rush at them like the Hulk, screaming with a crazy mad face. (I believed that No one would dare want to see that.)

We are called to Move by a Powerful Intention of Gratitude toward that which is Divine. See and Acknowledge your N’oj (Knowing) for the Truth of its Power. With the Clarity of Illumination, the Choice to “do what we can” will be a Movement we can Believe in with all our heart.

To all my relations, may we have the Patience to see the Divine Truth. May we face all the bitterness of the world, believing in our One Drop of Divine Love. One drop of Love will guide us to think about what we are intending to do. One drop of Love offers the Time and Patience to make the Divine Choice to Forgive.

May we move with all our Heart. May we pay forward our Gratitude that it only takes one drop of Divinity to make a Divine Difference. One drop holds the sweetness of Life and Hope for the Justice of Harmony and Equity.

May we proclaim the Fierceness and Authority of our Power. May we declare in our most powerful voice  the Truth that we are Light, Only Light, Eternal Light – that no darkness can extinguish. May our Faith be raised to Believe the Time is Now for the past to be burned away. May we call on ALL our resources of Spirit, “Grandfathers, Grandmothers, we are Here and Now, ready to receive the Highest Power of Love. Please forgive our past mistakes. Please help us manifest the Prayer of Divine Justice.” May we dance with all our Heart to the Drum Beat of Life for Mother Earth to hear and Know we are ready to Choose the Reality of our Dreams.

in lak’ech, i am another you

9 Earth/CABAN (Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI)

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.

Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement, of perpetual motion, recycling, regeneration; environmentalists fighting for the underdog. Heron is mentally alert, rational, yet opinionated; has a great faith in people and in the divine plan, holding the magic of ministry, medicine, marketing and matchmaking; healing abilities, especially with crystals; negotiation and mediation energy. Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way. “The Northern Cross is the Tree of Life, Beside the Milky Way River & Perched atop is Guwi’ sguwi, the Cherokee Heron Spirit Bird, comparable to the Egyptian Phoenix. One Myth has it that a Beautiful Young Maiden (the Heron Spirit Bird) fell from the Tree of Life in the Sky Vault, & Found no Place to Land on the Primordial Sea. Turtle came to the Surface of the Water & gave her a Place to Land. She nested & Laid her Cosmic Egg, From which came all Life on Earth.” (Cherokee Astrology: Animal, Medicine in the Stars, Raven Hail)

Bix a beel? How is your Spiritual Path Today?

On October 28, 2018, 9 Earth/CABAN, a Transformation was completed on the day I arrived in Cancun. I completed a personal Truth that by holding a Divine Intention and following the footsteps of the Jaguar, I was able to manifest a lifelong Dream. The Dream was marked in Spirit as Mine, and saved for the Time and Place of its Highest Purpose as a Sacred Pilgrimage of Forgiveness. It wasn’t the first miracle in my life, but it was the first “impossible choice” that proved to me the Power of a Divine Intention. It was the “impossible made possible” that manifested a Truth of ALL Possibility.

I looked back years before to my first post of 8 Wisdom/CIB. My impossible Dream then was only to end the waking nightmares born of worldly fears. Faith was moved to Believing one small step at a time. Today, I know the thoughts of Divine thoughts I carry into my dreams, by their Intention, will always manifest a Blessing of Light at each Dawn of a New Awakening.

Journal, 9 Earth/CABAN, October 28, 2018, the Completion of a Divine Intention

May we return to a Sacred Time and Place in Ek’ Balam to Receive the Divine Justice that is the Answer to our Prayers.
