4 Wind / IK
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Wind/IK is the Breath of Life and the Breath of Spirit. The Wind is the Voice and the Final Word of Creation. The glyph illustrates the “T” portal that is carved in stone. “Te” is revered by the Maya as a sacred word as the sound of the Creator’s 1st Breath. The portal magnifies the Sound of the Wind and directs Vision to look to see.
The Element of Air relates to our thoughts and faculties of Consciousness. The Wind carries the Voice of the Creator. The Elders say that when the Wind speaks to take note of the thought on your mind. The Wind speaks through the gentle rustling of the leaves, a passing fragrance, or the force that changes the landscape of our life. Wind/IK holds the power to change our mind or break down an established order of thoughts.
IK resides in the North, the direction of Wisdom. White is the color of the Bones to stand and the Teeth to bite through. The Creator’s Word is the Truth in the Wind.
Tone 4 holds the Intention of Stability symbolized by the cube, the most stable of all forms. Tone 4 serves the end of Creation as an Intention to Choose our thoughts. Our body of consciousness gains stability by establishing borders and parameters of thought, like the “rules of a game.”

Thoughts of the Creator’s Words of Truth will always lead to our Highest End. Following the thoughts of our doubts and fears always lead us into darkness.
Wind/IK can speak with the Power of an “act of God” on either end of the scale. IK represents the most Critical Element of Life and the Creator’s Authority over our first and last breath. The Creator holds the Power to offer us a breath of fresh air, or put an end to our voice.

“Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change.”
One Discernment of Truth can change the way we see an experience. One variable of Unknown Truth can tear away a filter we created out of thin air. We followed a passing thought without an application of Consciousness or Patience to see the whole picture. Have you ever created an entire scenario around an experience, just to find one detail of the situation that changed the whole story? Wind is the dissemination of Truth. Pay attention to what the Wind tells you, and follow your highest way.
This is a day to be conscious of your own Truth. Don’t be influenced by passing Human thoughts. If you choose your own thoughts in advance, you’ll know the thoughts that belong to you. The Truth is the most important element for every Intention. We have to have a Reason that speaks to our Heart and Mind. “Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom.”
In the 5th uinal we are discovering a source of Power within. We are seeing the Light of our own Ways and Means of Creation. We only have to Ask for the Truth to Know, if we’re willing to know the Truth and only the Truth at every cost. The Creator’s Truth will always set us free and direct our Faith in tomorrow.
May we claim the Truth will always be given with the Strength to stand and the Teeth to bite through. When we lean into the Truth we’ll always have the Creator’s Power at our back. The Storm/CAUAC trecena calls us into a sanctuary within. Take the Time to contemplate the Truth that’s Real and sort the facts from fiction beyond the reach of any outside influence. The Creator always shares the Truth that makes Common Sense, without any lingering questions or confusion.
May we Ask the Creator for the Winds to clear the Air on behalf of the whole.
in lak’ech, I am another you

“All is silent and calm. Hushed and empty is the womb of the sky. THESE, then, are the first words, the first speech. There is not yet one person, one animal, bird, fish, crab, tree, rock, hollow, canyon, meadow, or forest. All alone the sky exists. The face of the earth has not yet appeared. Alone lies the expanse of the sea, along with the womb of all the sky. There is not yet anything gathered together. All is at rest. Nothing stirs. All is languid, at rest in the sky. There is not yet anything standing erect. Only the expanse of the water, only the tranquil sea lies alone. There is not yet anything that might exist. All lies placid and silent in the darkness, in the night. All alone are the Framer and the Shaper, Sovereign and Quetzal Serpent, They Who Have Borne Children and They Who Have Begotten Sons. Luminous they are in the water, wrapped in quetzal feathers and cotinga feathers. Thus they are called Quetzal Serpent. In their essence, they are great sages, great possessors of knowledge. Thus surely there is the sky. There is also Heart of Sky, which is said to be the name of the god.” (Huracán) The Popol Vuh, pg. 56-57 (Christenson)

4 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA) – Day 4 of 13 of the 1 Storm/CAUAC Trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU, from MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
A GOOD DAY TO: Send Communications of all kinds.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
