“The Beast” Emerging from the Far Side of the Sun
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 07/13/2025
BEHOLD, “THE BEAST”: Around the world, astronomers are monitoring a massive prominence curling over the sun’s northeastern limb. David Wilson of Inverness, Scotland, calls it “The Beast”:

“This is 3 hours of the giant prominence as seen from my backyard solar observatory,” says Wilson. “It looks to me like some huge 4-legged beast shuffling along.”
Prominences are clouds of hydrogen held above the surface of the sun by magnetic fields. The shuffling of the Beast is a sign of magnetic instability, and may herald a collapse or magnificent eruption. Photo-op, anyone? Monitoring is encouraged on July 13th.

Mayan Calendar Time
The trecena of Transformer/CIMI represents the Sign of a Major Life Change, and chaos is the Sign of Change in progress. The Sun has been “quiet” for a few days, though it appears it could now unleash the “wrath of God.” Those who passed the test of a “trial by fire” learned to “fear the Lord.” Those who refused to see the signs of evil are the ones at risk of learning a lesson the hard way. Deer/MANIK is represented by Taurus the bull. Tomorrow is Star/LAMAT, the symbol of the Scion represented by Venus.
On July 13, 2025 Venus is following the follower, the Red Giant, Aldebaran. (See StarWalk Astronomical News for the details on when and where to see Venus.)
Aldebaran mythology: “The Follower” and “The Royal Star”
The name “Aldebaran” comes from the Arabic “al Dabarān,” which means “the follower.” This is because Aldebaran seems to follow the Pleiades star cluster, which is also located in the constellation Taurus.
Aldebaran has been observed and honored for thousands of years. In Babylonia, around 3000 BC, it was known as “The Leading Star of Stars” because the arrival of the constellation Taurus marked the vernal equinox, the beginning of the Babylonian year. In Persia, Aldebaran was one of the four Royal Stars that symbolized the four seasons, along with Regulus, Antares, and Fomalhaut. The Mesopotamians called Aldebaran the “Messenger of Light.”
“The Beast” appears to be the sign of a losing battle over who appears to be “The Leading Star of Stars.”

TRECENA OF TRANSFORMER/CIMI: Transition from Death to a New Life
The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.
CIMI is the 1st trecena of the second season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. There’s something more to see when you discern the meaning of Time for yourself. The Truth is revealed by the thoughts on your mind. The Human calendar is written within as Humans course of Migration, thoughts in a Divine Order that lead us back to the place where we belong.
2 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 2 of 13 of the 1 Transformer/CIMI trecena.

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
THIS IS A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to Others
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
