The Light of a Savior
The story of Castor and Pollux tells of the love between twin brothers born of different fathers. Pollux was the immortal son of Zeus, while Castor was the mortal son of Leda’s husband, Tyndareus. Castor lost his life in battle. His heartbroken brother Pollux, asked Zeus if he could give his immortality to Castor. Zeus finally conceded that the two could share it. The two shine together for as long as they both shall live.

Greetings Beloved Kin,
Reed/BEN represents the Sanctuary of the Heart where Love is makes a Sacrifice for the Highest Cause. The glyph illustrates two beams of Light shining on an altar as a channel for the Divine Communion of Spirits, Above and Below. Beneath are two thatched prayer mats for two to kneel as one.
Reed/BEN holds Position 13. 13 is the symbol of Ascension and the Answer to a Prayer. All things become possible through our Human Acts of Faith in the Word of God.
The Reed is the symbol of the “hollow bone.” The channel is opened when the flesh is burned away. Our eternal life is the offering of greatest value we can share with one another. Through the sacrifice we can shine together for eternity.
We are fighting a battle side-by-side. Though it appears we are fighting against one another. In Truth we are battling a common foe, the author of lies that tells us all our problems could be over if we could erase the life of “the other.” Then, we could know peace.
The cross-hatch design represents the veil. Our war is not with Human but with powers and principalities of evil that found a stronghold in our life. Evil finds its way in through our doubts and fears, for the purpose of turning brother against brother.
Darkness can weigh heavy as we reach the end of a cycle of Light. We’re tired. Old grievances that weigh heavy are imposed by the evil one who uses one last chance to foil the plans of a Savior. Darkness casts a shadow over the Greatest Offering when we revisit the pain of the suffering that was imposed by one mortal Human upon another. Dante’s journey to hell hits rock bottom in an Intention to turn on one another. If we engage the Intention we’re willing to take a life to save our own.
Job reached the end of his time of suffering by praying for friends that discounted his Faith in a God. In the end everything that was lost was restored and multiplied to abundance.
When we stand on Faith in one who already gave his life to save us, our life will be sustained by God’s Divine Order.
No weapon formed against us can prosper when we claim the offering of an eternal life. No doubts or fears can overcome our Faith when we sacrifice our life for one another. We all fall victim to the lies of the evil one. God saved us while we were still in sin. We didn’t earn forgiveness. It was freely given, even while we shouted “Crucify him.”
When we turn to God for the Light of Truth and the Way to Love, he will always answer. The Darkness will always give-way to the Light.
We can turn the darkness around when we’re willing to share eternal life with ever “other” in our life who appears to stand in the way of an Abundant Life in the world. Those who don’t deserve our Love are the mortal brothers who may never know eternal life without our Salvation. How could we ever rest in peace, knowing we left our brother behind. We will know when we reach the gates of heaven and we are called into account for taking a life instead of saving it.
The channels of Light are the open door to the “other side.” We have a choice to live together forever, or to die together and spend eternity in darkness for the sacrifice we were unwilling to make to save another child of God.
We are called to turn to the Source that can burn away the flesh of the world. In the sacred exchange of Love we can share an eternal blessing.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
It’s harder to forgive those who Intended to cause suffering. We imagine the shame and suffering that could even the score. The Light can turn away thoughts of darkness. When we turn to the Light, we are turned away from the darkness. God’s Light will restore our Peace of Mind.
Tone 3 is the first day of Movement in this cycle of Creating a New World. Spirit moves by Intention. Intention is the Force of Spirit that creates a New Vibration. Love creates a sound that draws all lower vibrations into sympathy. We are attracted to the Light. The frequency of the vibration at the beginning is sustained to the end. When we set an Intention, and we fail, we’ll remember the Choice we made to carry on.
This is a very important day to put our best foot forward. Instead of just forgiving, we can vouch for the brethren that appear to be our enemies. Dwell on the Light of Truth. We weren’t always this way. If there was Love at the beginning, Love will carry on in the hearts of those who have been torn apart by the world.
What appears to be “impossible” is “possible” when we turn to the Light of Truth.
Revelation 3:16-17 KJV
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
May we invest our Whole Heart our prayers for one another. It’s not enough to just forgive. We can call upon the Lord to restore the Love we knew in the beginning. For everything we pray for our self, may we implore God with our Whole Heart to share in harmony with “the other.” God’s Love without conditions is the Light that overcomes the Darkness between us. We can believe in the Love of God to find a way.
What we are unable to carry out on our own, the Holy Spirit will do when we surrender our Will to God’s Will.
13 Night/AKBAL is the Guardian of this cycle of Light. God’s Light can overcome the Darkness that presses in on our Worldly Dreams for tomorrow. God’s Voice will break through as the Answer to our Prayers in the end.
May we imagine the Highest End that’s promised when we Fear the Lord and follow God’s Divine Order to Love. May we imagine the doors to heaven opened wide.

CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal of the Tzolk’in represent the center column of 20-days, which carry the Intention of Balancing. In the Center we are returned to Unity. Our discernment of duality comes into balance. The Maya believed this to be the axis mundi – the center of the world that connects Heaven and Earth, where the four directions meet; where communication from lower realms may ascend to higher ones and blessings from higher realms may descend to the lower realm and disseminated to all. The Core Days may be experienced as a time of personal mystery where the crystalline structure is formed with the wings to fly.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeavor to bring peace, harmony and order to all o their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, may have marriage or business problems because of inflexible vies and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson for Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe. Bless or repair your house.

From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.
