The Light to Follow
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 02/19/2026
A MEETING IN THE TWILIGHT SKY: Last night, the whisker-thin crescent Moon had a rare close encounter with Mercury. Dr. Gilbert Plumer photographed the conjunction from Rockledge, Florida:
“It was an amazing sight as the pair settled behind the trees,” says Plumer. “Only a little later, the Moon covered Mercury completely.”
Indeed, a lunar occultation of Mercury was visible across 10 southern US states and Mexico. The first planet vanished behind the dark limb of the Moon and remained invisible for as much as 45 minutes. Stay tuned for photos of that.

CME IMPACT POSSIBLE TODAY: NASA and NOAA models agree that a CME could graze Earth today, Feb. 19th. It left the sun on Feb. 16th. The impact, if it occurs, could cause a minor G1-class geomagnetic storm. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.
The Sun Now
Earth-facing sunspots are reported as having simple, stable magnetic fields. Strong solar flares are unlikely today. All of these sunspots have simple, stable magnetic fields. Solar wind flowing the coronal hole should reach Earth on Feb. 24th.
Solar prominences on the eastern limb are a sign of things to come. The region of major solar flares appears to be active and growing in the view from Mars. The region is moving into Earth-facing position to show itself in the next Day or two and will remain in geoeffective position for days after.

Planetary Alignment on February 28, 2026: How to See Six Planets After Sunset
Source: StarWalk.com, February 19, 2026
Six planets will align and be visible after sunset on February 28, 2026: Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Four planets can be observed with the naked eye (though spotting Mercury may be tricky), while Uranus and Neptune require binoculars or a telescope.
- Date: February 28, 2026
- Best time: About 30 minutes after local sunset
- Where to look: Low in the western sky
- Visible to the naked eye: Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter
- Binoculars or a telescope needed: Uranus, Neptune
Such celestial events are pretty uncommon, especially when four bright planets can be seen at once without any optical aid. What makes this “parade” even more special is its evening visibility, which is more convenient for most observers than early-morning alignments.
See Starwalk.com for date and times in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.
Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity
The Deer/MANIK trecena is a Divine Call to follow a dedicated daily path as Human’s mission to be the Light of the world. February 28, 2026 is 11 Earth/CABAN – the Day sign of a Clarion Call by Forces of Nature that begin every Great Migration. Tone 11 marks a Higher Resolution of the Truth, a Wakeup Call, and Code of Activation. The planets will be gathered in line to see the Sun from a Common perspective. The Intention to pray for one another is a gathering of Divine Forces on Earth. A planetary parade is a Sign of unity. God will reveal what it means.
Today is a lucky day to hold Faith in the Creator’s plan to sweep the darkness away. The Star is a Sign to look for Signs of Divine Justice by the Highest Authority.
The Christian calendar shares the promise of a reckoning – a curse or a blessing. On the other side of a planetary parade is the Sun who Sees All Around. We are never out-of-sight. The Word promises that all Truth shall come to Light. The order for the Time is to Trust the Lord with all your Heart, Mind, and Soul. We are being prepared to rise from the ashes of the past. The past ended for a New Beginning by the Sign of a “Ring of Fire” eclipse.

Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.
Not so the wicked, not so;
they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
For the LORD watches over the way of the just,
but the way of the wicked vanishes.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
A GOOD DAY TO: Ask for Abundance in all relations.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
