Keeping Your Eyes On God
The Eagle eye is among the sharpest in the animal kingdom, estimated at 20/5 vision. Eyes continuously adjust as they approach their prey to maintain sharp focus and accurate perception from the beginning to the end. They see colors more vividly than we do to discriminate more shades, as well as ultraviolet light.

They can see their prey by their color, even when hidden, detecting UV-reflecting urine trails of small prey. An eagle can spot a rabbit 2 miles (3.2 km) away. Fixed eye sockets angled 30 degrees from the midline of their face offers a 340-degree field of vision. Their clearest field of vision is straight ahead. (Wikipedia: Eagle Eye)
Humans have to adjust our own eyes to look straight ahead. With the Vision of the Eagle we can see the Lights all around — and the future — when we keep our eye on the prize.
Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV
12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
When we clearly see the Truth, we’re guided to change. Though, sometimes we don’t know what to do. The Eagle’s eye is bigger than its brain. Human “eyes are bigger than our stomach.” Sometimes a small bite of the past is more than we can handle.
We’re not supposed to judge one another. So, what do we say when we see evil headed our way? How do we explain to old friends or family without casting judgement? It’s hard to “just say no” to those who are bound to ask again.

Under the Wing of the Almighty One
God has contingency-plans for us. He can draw boundaries people can’t cross. We can be hidden under the Wings of the Almighty One who can see everything.
There was a time when I lived in fear that someone would show up at my door, and I didn’t know what to say. When the evil one controls someone you love, our heart can feel bound to let them in. I had a vision of God’s power to intervene. I saw them taking one wrong turn after another, until they finally decided to go back home.
We can ASK ANYTHING. God promises to do for us what we can’t do for our Self. When we keep our eyes focused straight ahead, we’ll remember.

Matthew 7:7-12 NIV – Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 Eagle/MEN
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Tone 9 holds the Intention of Patience to see the Big Picture. The Eagle shares the Vision to see from the Highest Perspective. 9 is the symbol of a creation that is “finished”.
When “the work” is done, we’re inclined to step back and see it from the Eyes of the Beholder. When we fail to take this step, there will be suffering to bear for lack of in-sight. We’re called to take this step at the end of every Day. God hears our unspoken prayers.
From the Highest Perspective, we’re called to keep our eyes on the prize to see what God can do. “Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.”
James 1:4-8
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
The Season of Lent is Time we dedicate to the Lord. It’s a good thing when we want to be alone. Sometimes we’re seen more clearly from a distance.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you

Psalm 91: Under the Wing of the Almighty One
“PRAY WITHOUT CEASING” – THE HOLY SPIRIT WATCHES OVER THE HOURS WE SLEEP
The next time you’re Called to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find the reason you were called to pray by the watch of the Day.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
- First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
- Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
- Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
- Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
- Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
- Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
- Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
- Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
A GOOD DAY TO: Rise to a higher perspective.
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
