From the Beginning to the End
The Maya discerned the meaning of time by the hours of each Day. Human’s “creation cycle” is ordered by the hours of Light. We can see it too, when we track our own thoughts. Each Tone reflects the same meaning and purpose on every scale of Time. The Tzolk’in is the Count of Days, a cycle that most clearly reflects “the beginning” and “the end”.
Sunrise is “the beginning” of the first hour. When we turn to the Lord every morning, the first thought is how today could be better than yesterday. Those are the first thoughts shared in a Divine Communion. The 2nd hour is Human’s reply, “to be or not to be”. We remember the failures of yesterday, and wonder how and if things will be different today.
If we choose to keep turning to the Lord, by the 3rd Hour we’ll see the Way. By the 3rd hour it’s Time to “go to work” – the “next thing” we know we have to do. The Lord leads by the hour from the beginning to the end.
If we knew how, we would have done it before. Wisdom is knowing we don’t know. Only God knows a plan beyond all human understanding. Divine Inspiration can be as simple as “next thing” we need to do.
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity
We’re following a Divine Order of Time whether we know it or not. When we track our thoughts, we can see the Synchronicity of Time.
Synchronicity is the coincidental occurrence of events that seem meaningfully related, yet lack any logical cause-and-effect connection. Coined by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung in the 1920s, the term describes experiences that feel deeply significant beyond mere accidental chance. (Source: Wikipedia)
There are times we realize that beyond our own intention, we arrived at an exact Time and Place where we were “meant to be”. It’s not a coincidence. The Lord guides us in the smallest details of our life. Give God the credit the next time you go to the grocery store, and someone pulls out of the parking spot closest to the door the moment you arrived. There are no coincidences, only God’s plan.

The Sun is the star at the heart of our solar system. Its gravity holds the solar system together, keeping everything — from the biggest planets to the smallest bits of debris — in its orbit.
THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: THE CREATOR’S LIGHT OF TRUTH
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
3 Sun/AHAU, Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK, Destiny Kin 120, Position 20 (the Zero Point)
May 22, 2026, 05/22/2026; Times Before: 09/04/2025, 12/18/2024, 04/02/2024
Greetings Beloved Kin,
The Jaguar is a symbol of the Unseen Spirit. By Faith we follow the “invisible footprints” on the path that lead to the Light of Truth. Sun/AHAU is the Light too bright for us to see, leading us to an end we cannot see.

Sun/AHAU represents the Supreme Lord of all Creation who had a plan for us to be, before we were born. We only think we’re wandering in the desert.
Jeremiah 1:5 KJV
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
The Ancient of Days is the Lord of Time. We are being prepared for the Lord’s “Time of our Life” to fulfill a Divine Purpose. The Apostles were scattered after the crucifixion. They were lost in the wilderness of their Unknown Future. On the 3rd Day, they knew exactly what they were meant to do.
3 Sun/AHAU is a Time such as this. The story we are given to share is that we were lost, and by a Miracle we can’t imagine, we found our Way by the Truth of the Holy Spirit of Christ.
We’ve lost our faith in one another. In this Time and Place it’s hard to relate to the idea of love that’s faithful and true, and an invincible source of Power to see us through. We’re more familiar with the ways we describe the evil one: relentless, ceaseless, non-stop, unyielding, and persistent.
If that’s easier to understand, we can apply those same qualities to the opposite extreme. The Lord of all Creation is relentless, ceaseless, non-stop, unyielding, and persistent, remembering that the Lord of Highest Authority go before, and follow us all the Days of our life.
The Cherokee Day is called “the Flower” that reflects both the Truth and the Way. Their faces follow the Sun from morning to night, as it crosses the Heart of Sky.
We do what we “have to do” next. By my experience, when company is coming, we finally have to clean the house. Divine Inspiration can compel us to do what we “have to do” when there’s nothing else we’d rather do. We are led by the Light of Love to climb every mountain.
Psalm 118:24 KJV
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
There’s a Divine Purpose for every Day. The Jaguar’s “magic” is gratitude. We can Count Every Day and be grateful that we don’t have to know the end that is God’s Will. As it was spoken, it SHALL be.
COMPLETING THE 6TH UINAL
3 Sun/AHAU completes the Higher Order of Time. The Intention of the 6th uinal is the Wisdom to go with the flow. Momentum is created through a rhythm and pattern of movement. The more we keep turning to the Lord, the more it becomes a habit that we do without thinking about it. We were empowered by Faith.
Hebrews 12:2 KJV
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The Word is relentless in its promise. The Old Testament contains hundreds of passages that foreshadow the Son, the Truth, and the Way.
love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”
Debra

Mark 13:33 KJV
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
PRAYERS FROM THE SECOND WATCH – INTERCESSORY PRAYER
The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day, AFTER. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find synchronicity in the Time when you look, after your prayers.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
- First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
- Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
- Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
- Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
- Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
- Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer (on behalf of the whole)
- Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
- Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.
THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: TRUTH THAT SETS US FREE

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.
It only takes 13 days to see how a Divine Intention set at the beginning, always end with the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts to stay on course. Often the matters on your mind follow the divine order of Time as the meaning of every Day.
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th seasons to the end of the Tzolk’in round.
1 Flint/ETZNAB is the 4nd trecena of the 2nd season of the Tzolk’in round, found at the end of Volume 1. The meaning of time is revealed by the thoughts on your mind.
NOTE: Tone 1 reflects the 1st Light of Divine Inspiration for this chapter of Time. If you forget where you are, return to Tone 1 to see the “First Light” of Divine Inspiration.
3 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK) – Day 3 of 13 in the trecena of 1 Flint/ETZNAB
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), who’s wisdom and Tzolk’in date calculator is preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
A GOOD TIME TO: Ask for Wisdom and the continued honored memory of our ancestors.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
