An Intermediary of Sight

18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Vision is a matter of looking to see. We filter out irrelevant matters. The mystery is that everything created was relevant to the experience the Creator planned. We see the relevance over Time. The Holy Spirit is the witness of all things Unseen.

An eagle possesses the sharpest vision known among all vertebrates, through a combination of extreme magnification, rapid focus, and advanced color perception. Tetrachromatic vision offers a superior experience of color. Eagles can discriminate between micro-shades of color and see the world with far greater richness and intensity than humans. This elite visual system allows them to spot rabbit-sized prey from up to two to three miles away while soaring high in the air. Eagles have a 340-degree field of vision. Cones in an eagle’s eye contain specialized pigmented oil droplets that act as natural filters, cutting through atmospheric haze, enhancing specific color contrasts, and protecting their eyes from sun damage.  (Source: Raptor Resource Project, “Eagle Eyes”)

If the Creator imagined such vision for the Eagles, it’s possible for us to know. If we are moved by a sunset, imagine what the Eagle sees.
