Gemini is the Constellation of the Twins. Pollux was the Immortal Son of Zeus and Castor, the Mortal Son of a Human father. When Castor died in battle, his brother Pollux offered to sacrifice his Immortal Life to save him. Zeus finally agreed that Pollux could share it, and so they would always shine together.
