
Canis Major – the Big Dog Constellation: Canis Major belongs to the southern celestial hemisphere and is visible at latitudes between 60°N and 90°S. Observers from the Southern Hemisphere can see it between November and April. In the Northern Hemisphere, the constellation appears from December to March and rises so low above the horizon that the southern part of it is barely visible.
