6 Sun/AHAU – Anchoring Our Power

Welcome Kin!

6 Sun/AHAU

6 Sun/AHAU

We are entering peak energies of the trecena as we arrive at Tone 6, led by the Day Sign revered as lord and chief of the Tzolk’in!

Bringing illumination and power to all aspects of our lives, AHAU prepares us for our highest potential. As we take on new power, Ahau calls us into humility. We may be tested.

It takes a conscious effort on my part to remember to share credit for my accomplishments. I’ve smiled and said thank you, then walked away remembering all the other people who helped make it possible. It can feel downright embarrassing when I realize I’ve just accepted all the credit.

That’s what I feel this Sun/AHAU day is about – new accomplishments coming through with the reminder to guard our ego to stand in our highest integrity. My daily journal offers personal insights on the day and today’s 13-Day Trecena guide shares some practical guidance.

6 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

Anchoring Our Power

trecena-RHYTHYMAt Galactic Tone 6 we are reaching the peak days of the trecena. As a day of artful negotiation and movement, we are establishing a dynamic flow and balance in our relationship with the hero of the Tzolk’in. Sun/AHAU reflects our highest potential and illuminates all our sacred journeys of transformation.

Sun/AHAU has a special affinity with Eagle as the Maya recognized Eagle and the Human Being as Sun’s totem signs. Ahau’s highest intention is to lead the sacred journey of human’s spiritual enlightenment. As Eagle helps us to connect to the heavenly realms, we are drawn into closer relationship with our Creator and the source of all life, strength, and happiness.

Sun/AHAU is a mental day of psychological tests and challenges. As we are empowered with our highest potential, we are called as spirit warriors to guard against the evils of pride, ambition, envy, lies, crime, sloth and corruption. As we continue to reach loftier heights, we are guided to remember that what we accomplish is not wholly due to our own merits, but through collaboration with Divine Spirit.

To all my relations, as we are made to shine our brightest, may we honor the gifts we are given and anchor our relationship to Divine Spirit by acknowledging the true source of our power.
