“Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others.”

These words from the description of CIMI jumped out at me yesterday, when I realized our 13 Tone of Ascension was guided by the Day Sign of Spirit Tools, Deer/MANIK. As we are ascending the Eagle/MEN trecena of Spiritual Evolution, WE have become the Spirit Tools in God’s own Hands.

We were created for a Divine purpose to be used in the world, and only through the blessing of our Spirit’s evolution are we able to carry that out. Our Creator WANTS to show his presence and bring forth every Spiritual Gift we might hope for.

We come to Serpent/CHICCHAN with the Truth of what we’ve accomplished and what is still standing in our way. Bringing in the new requires a sacrifice and the reallocation of our time and attention.

There are times I’ve been held back by believing there was no room in my life for the change that was wanted. I had to become willing to let go of the old to make room for the new. Change calls on our faith and courage, though only through sacrifice and commitment are we able to make things happen.

Galactic Tone 11 asks us to make the necessary adjustments so that change can be established. The Cherokee interpretation of the Serpent is that it “lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself.” There’s nothing we’re unable to accomplish when we’re ignited by Love.

We are entering peak energies of the trecena as we arrive at Tone 6, led by the Day Sign revered as lord and chief of the Tzolk’in!

Bringing illumination and power to all aspects of our lives, AHAU prepares us for our highest potential. As we take on new power, Ahau calls us into humility. We may be tested.

It takes a conscious effort on my part to remember to share credit for my accomplishments. I’ve smiled and said thank you, then walked away remembering all the other people who helped make it possible. It can feel downright embarrassing when I realize I’ve just accepted all the credit.

Greetings, Kin!

We are navigating dynamic energies through the Eagle/MEN trecena as our pathway to spiritual illumination. I’ve experienced the need to let many things go over the past few days – particularly yesterday. My 4 Flint/Etznab presented the annoyance of everything in my world that I would guess didn’t fall in line with my way of thinking. I burned a lot of sage and lit a lot of candles.

We’ve covered so much new ground, I’ve found myself motivated as never before to make this new growth stick through every effort I can invest in my relationship to Spirit. I’m learning to let go more quickly. I had to let go as I was finishing this post and the computer decided to shut down unexpectedly before I saved what I had written. Okay – so, I turned that over too, and spent the time rebooting to light more candles and burn more sage and sweetgrass!

My own world looks far different than it did 6 months ago. My heart reaches out to you and I hold you in my prayers. We all need each other and each one of us has something very important to share.

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utilized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidents, misunderstandings and gossip.

Stabilized by Truth

Flint/ETZNAB shows us what is out of balance and affects change quickly through flashes of inspiration. The Cherokee described Flint/DAWI’SGALA as “beaming a Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth along the path of a lightening flash.” Etznab cuts to the heart of any matter to remove that which is not worthy.
