10 Seed/KAN – Vision of Potential

Greetings Kin,

10 Seed/KAN

Divine Spirit knows that to achieve our dreams we must hold the vision of their potential. Seed/KAN is the Day Sign that helps us to see that the power we have been given is only the seed of something much bigger.

We share the responsibility of bringing our seed to harvest. Seed/KAN guides us to see what is needed and what has held us back so we may find ourselves in fertile soil to grow.

Today’s Daykeeper Journal shares inspiration from Spirit and today’s post to the 13-Day Trecena guide offers practical guidance for the observance of this day.

10 Seed/KAN (Cherokee/Dragon/UKTE’NA)

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

Vision of Potential

Galactic Tone 10 relates to the materialization of substance and the realization of potential. In our Eagle/MEN journey of spiritual growth, Tone 10 asks us to stop to recognize the power in the gifts we have been given. Seed/KAN helps us to discern our new potential.

Like the magical process of germination, what we have received of the Divine Spirit will be expanded from something small into a much greater existence. The Cherokee Day Sign of Dragon/UKTE’NA relates to “the Corn Mother and Maiden, holding the power of fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation.”  Seed/KAN gives us the vision to see that the fruit of our harvest will become the seeds of the next generation.

KAN ensures our seed will yield a harvest by helping us to find the most fertile soil in which to grow. KAN is able to clear our garden of our karmic debt and oppressive patterns of our past, and helps us to discern any other obstacles that could hold us back.

To all my relations, may we realize we are only beginning to see the fullness of God. May the vision of our true potential serve to free us from any obstacles that would hold us back. May we see how much we have at stake.
