X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE SHATTERS THE QUIET: The sun has been quiet for weeks. That ended today (April 24th) with a powerful X2.4-class solar flare. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the extreme ultraviolet flash:

 

The Sympathetic M-Class Flares that came before…

The flare ionized Earth’s upper atmosphere, causing a shortwave radio blackout over the Pacific Ocean near Australia: map. Ham radio operators may have noticed a deep loss of signal at all frequencies below 20 MHz around 01:00 UTC.

The X-flare was preceded by a flurry of M-class flares on April 23rd--including a double explosion involving two different sunspots on opposite sides of the sun. This is called a “sympathetic flare.” It happens when magnetic teleconnections between sunspots set the stage for chain reactions across the solar disk.

More flares are likely today and throughout the weekend. Sunspots 4419 and 4420 both have ‘beta-gamma-delta’ magnetic fields that harbor energy for strong X-class explosions.

GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH: Minor G1-class geomagnetic storms are possible on April 26th when a CME is expected to graze Earth’s magnetic field. It was hurled into space by an M1-class double solar flare on April 23rd. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

1 Road/EB begins a Sacred Journey through Time. Look for the Signs and the Road will guide the way. Prepare for the unexpected. The Lord leads the way. Doors are opened and closed by a Hand Above. A Detour will will turn us in the right direction. Sympathetic flares are a Sign of Solar Resonance.

In 2020 doors were closed. We were changed when we were guided to stay home. We can trust in the Signs at the beginning. When matters are out of our hands, it’s easy to follow. The Lord will lead us in the right direction to a perfect Time and Place. We’re being led by the Light of the Sun to the scenic route where green grass grows and flowers are in bloom.

Our Divine Justice waits in the Zenith Hour. Our eyes will be opened on May 1, 2026 by the Light poured out by the Full Flower Moon. We will be healed and humbled by the Beauty of God’s Way. (Pack your go-bag and a picnic lunch. And don’t rely on GPS.)

The Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA, symbolized by a rainbow, leaves the mark of a healing. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Guardian of the Way and Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom. “High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.“

Road/EB is the 2nd trecena of the 2nd Season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. Road/EB is also known as Human. A cycle of a New Life is reaching maturity and Time is ordered for our Tree of Life to branch out to multiply to abundance. Day 1 of every cycle is a meaningful reference to remember the Intention you set from the beginning.

Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.
