MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The energy of Galactic Tone 8 is one of balancing the scales. Sun/AHAU is a source of life, inspiration, and happiness that brings illumination and understanding. 8 Sun/AHAU allows us to see that each one of us is meant to receive God’s blessings.
Sun/AHAU asks us to see that God’s Light shines equally in all directions because we are all equally worthy of Love, Light and Happiness. Sun can show us how we can make each man’s joy our own. This is the Day of our Ancestors who are ready to share their wisdom.
THE TRECENA OF REED/BEN – DIVINE CORRESPONDENCE
8 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)
Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
Divine Correspondence: a God sighting journey
8 Sun/AHAU reminds us that the blessings received by any one of us is a blessing to us all. When we are in the grip of our own disappointments, celebrating the good fortune of others can sometimes be a challenge. This is only a symptom of the fear that our own needs may not be met.
A tradition passed down by the Hawaiian ancestors is referred to as “The Aloha Spirit.” Aloha means more than a greeting of hello or goodbye. Its deeper meaning is “the joyful (oha) sharing (alo) of life energy (ha) in the present (alo).” It is said that to engage in this energy is to be aligned with Universal Mana (Spirit).
Many years ago on a trip to Hawaii I brought home a tiny booklet called “The Little Pink Booklet of Aloha,” by Serge King. (The booklet is still made available for free to anyone who wants one.) The booklet explains that the principle of the Aloha Spirit is to bless every evidence of the abundance you would hope for yourself. If you desire a companion, send blessings when you see happy couples. If you pray for strength, bless trees, tall buildings, well-toned athletes, or any other evidence of strength whenever you see it.
Having compassion for one anothers’ challenges can seem a far easier task than feeling joy at another’s good fortune. Though, our resistance to share the joy of another is a delay to our own happiness. We may be blessed in relation to the joy we share for another, not because God would withhold our happiness – but because we withhold our own happiness when we are stuck believing that we can’t be similarly blessed.
To all my relations, as we all walk the hard road of life we long to celebrate our experiences of joy. When we respond in mutual joy, we know we are engaging the mana of Spirit that opens us to receive the abundance that God also has planned for us.
