MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 brings the power to transform a new understanding into a Personal Truth. We are given the gift of retrospection to discover the implications of something we have learned.
Wind/IK represents the Breath of Life and Spirit with the power to create and disseminate new ideas. Wind is changeable. We no longer have to follow a course we’ve taken just to “fit in.” We are given the power and courage to take a new direction so we may live in our true authenticity.
THE TRECENA OF MONKEY/CHUEN
12 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
Crystallization of Spirit Day 12
Our gift of retrospection equips us to remember what our inner voice has been saying. We can avoid pursuing a perpetual pattern of judgement by paying attention to our thoughts. We all have our own Truth, whether it be the result of intention or unconsciousness.
Today we have the power to question ourselves and discern our own Truth. Daring to be authentic can be an effortless transformation when we accept that we were meant to be different. Every perspective reveals a valuable truth about the whole.
As we release our resistance to “the other” our whole countenance will change. Our shoulders relax, we can feel our guards come down, and we feel the release of our own healing breath. Maybe we never realized the walls we built between us.
To all my relations, may we draw understanding as a Sacred Healing Breath that would dissolve any resistance that would separate us from One Another’s Light.
