MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Divine Spirit knows that to achieve our dreams we must hold the vision of their potential. Seed/KAN is the Day Sign that helps us to see that the power we have been given is only a small seed of something much bigger.
Galactic Tone 10 relates to the materialization of substance and the realization of potential. In our Eagle/MEN journey of spiritual growth, Tone 10 helps us to recognize our Highest Potential for manifestation.
Like the magical seed, we can be fired by Divine Spirit to become something exponentially greater. The Cherokee Day Sign of Dragon/UKTE’NA relates to “the Corn Mother and Maiden, holding the power of fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation.” Seed/KAN guides us to see that the fruit of our harvest will become the seeds of the next generation. By reaching for our Highest Aspirations, we hold the potential to become the Grandfathers and Grandmothers who share a Spiritual Inheritance with all who follow.
KAN ensures our seed will yield a harvest by helping us to find the most fertile soil in which to grow. KAN is able to clear our garden of our karmic debt and oppressive patterns of our past, and helps us to discern any other obstacles that could hold us back.
To all my relations, may we realize we are only beginning to see the fullness of the Divine Plan of our Creator. May the vision of our true potential serve to free us from any obstacles that would hold us back. May we know that reaching for our Highest Aspiration holds potential beyond the here and now.

THE TRECENA OF EAGLE/MEN
10 Seed/KAN (Cherokee/Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ” eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
